Does this game have multiplayer ?

I looked on the website http://www.navalwargame.com and on these forums but I wasn't able to find it.

Simply put, does this game have multiplayer ?
Would be a shame if it didn't.

It has the capacity for multiplayer, but I've yet to find anyone actually playing it in the game browser. If you want multiplayer you'll need to organize some games through forums or RL.

You can also friend other NWAC players on the Steam network, allowing you to invite (and be invited) directly into multiplayer games.

And how are these multiplayer games ?
Because on Wikipedia it solely says it's one versus one matches and that's all you can get.
That and is this game a succesor of Fleet Command ?
Looks pretty similar.

I'm pretty sure the question was obvious.
What type if multiplayer is there, only 1 versus 1 or not ?
Then getting a link to a dictionary explaining multiplayer is quite insulting....

Is there anything else than one on one, what's the max players there can be in one game, is it always NATO vs the Soviet block, is there a free for all, are there missions in multiplayer.
Player versus AI ?

The multiplayer is only 1 v 1. There are five or six custom scenarios for the multiplayer. The game mechanics themselves are always NATO v. Russia. However, the flavor text and theme of the multiplayer scenarios vary, e.g. a modern day War of the Roses battle. None of the campaign missions are playable in multiplayer, but you can play the multiplayer scenarios against the AI.

Thanks for the information, seeing as this game looks like a follow up of Fleet Command I'll try and find if that offers anything different.
