German aircraft losses are completely out of whack!

What's that new icon under the subs?

Looks a bit in comparison to history but imprtantly for the game it looks balanced, check the Canadian bomber losses for instance.

Does look as though the AI continues to fly when org' is too low but hopefully that % of org' is modable, although it might result in very quiet skies.

Interesting that the x260m (human player) has managed to keep air-losses to an absolute minimum which at least suggest a MP air-war will be close.

Lovely to see info to see convoy losses too, especially as early ASW is fairly ineffective, will make convoy raiding much more interesting.

PS. what's the cannon icon for ?

Not sure but isn't it: green for in firing range, grey for out of firing range; same as before but different icon
It means the enemy is both within range and visible. The grey colour of the subs (as opposed to the beige of the British ships) means they are undetected; choosing to open fire may well change that! Only undetected ships can break contact; undetected ships that fire get 'surprise' bonuses to their attacks (but firing greatly increases the chance of detection). If we have it working right (and we think we have) then ships may choose not to fire if trying to escape or to get surprise. The favourite plot for those subs would therefore be: (a) open fire while still undetected and cause as much havoc as possible, (b) cease fire and try to open distance in order to (c) break contact. They may decide to fire for longer, however, if they are not getting hit by ASW attacks...

That's most excellent, it adds a whole extra dimension to naval combat and as you've said previously makes detection and doctrines (representing skill/training/experience) hugely important in on-going naval battles

Let's see what Italy can do.

Looks like there won't be any Luftwaffe left for the Battle of Britain, sadly

It looks like it reads "1.200" for fighters. So perhaps it's 1.2 fighters - which would still be out of whack, but on the low end, not high end.

Just curious. How is the situation on the Iberian Peninsula. Nationalist Spain kicking some Republican butt finally, or is it the same old sad outcome? From my HoI experience Nationalists lose four times out of five and giving aid as Germany via event never helps, will this change in AoD? Could you post some screenshots please.

Wow, Germany's airforce is uh... looking a little worse for wear. Those level I and II planes aren't cutting it...

It looks to be random to me. The Nationalists won in this game.

By contrast, Panzerwaffe losses seem a little low...IRL the Panzer Is and IIs got completely cut apart even by heavy machine guns, which are generally attached at battalion level...

Pretty historical for the moment.
Now you must take care of the Italians in North Africa.
Do they have left Ethiopia without any troops, as usual?

If you look closely on the german Flag, you can see that the black part is mostly transparent.
Is this intendent, or a bug?
