As His Lord's almighty King of Castille, we (royal we) have decided that it is our destiny to rule the Iberian peninsula. We have therefore
planned to pursue the Arriba doctrine: Overwhelming all other sources of power that border our nation.
BOth Navarra and Granada are weak and we can make use of future Portuguese explorer (just like The Lord explained to us in a vision).
Therefore, our immediate target is Aragon. We immediately break our ties with them, and insult their royalty's bunny slippers.

VPs are now in negative territory. The Castille court thinks my policies are madness. I begin to build a second army
June 15, 1419 : Aragon joined the war on the same side as England, Brittany, Burgundy and Navarra in their war against France, Auvergne, Bourbonnais, Orleans, Provence and Scotland.
By the time my second army is completed and properly positionned, Aragon and Navarra are allied with England. That won't stop me from my destiny!

The first Arriba War comes to an end. I obtain some money, Valencia and Catalonia. I've effectively gutted Aragon as an
effective power and significantly improved my own standing. Now, time to make friends.

One last surprise: while we were focused on Portugal, it seems England used the opportunity to annex Navarra. English dogs
on our Scared Lands??? Unacceptable.
We use the next ten years to bring our stability to maximum, as well as concentrate on research. We restablish relations with Portugal.
Their king is welcomed back into our family.
Aragon is still an English vassal (Note: No idea how the event engine handles that), but we can easily take it by force if necessary.
However, the Arriba Doctrine has been a success. The only remaining powers in Iberia are the Portuguese capital, the Aragon capital
and 2 provinces owned by the English (Navarra and Canary Islands).
What comes next? We could crusade against the Muslims to our south. Or use our grand alliance with France to trigger a battle royale
with England (its occupation of Navarra gives us a permanent Casus Belli). Or develop our nation peacefully until 1492.

But, the best news ever for Castille, it is accepted to join the grand alliance headed by France. Now, to destroy Portugal before France

One last surprise: while we were focused on Portugal, it seems England used the opportunity to annex Navarra. English dogs
on our Scared Lands??? Unacceptable.
We use the next ten years to bring our stability to maximum, as well as concentrate on research. We restablish relations with Portugal.
Their king is welcomed back into our family.
Aragon is still an English vassal (Note: No idea how the event engine handles that), but we can easily take it by force if necessary.
However, the Arriba Doctrine has been a success. The only remaining powers in Iberia are the Portuguese capital, the Aragon capital
and 2 provinces owned by the English (Navarra and Canary Islands).
What comes next? We could crusade against the Muslims to our south. Or use our grand alliance with France to trigger a battle royale
with England (its occupation of Navarra gives us a permanent Casus Belli). Or develop our nation peacefully until 1492.
Now, for some stats: Third in VPs, after Golden Horde and England (grrr, only a few points too)
Badboy - only 5. Nothing compared to Sweden's 31 (It invaded Albania!)
