Humanity was wrong.
there was no god, no allah, no Jehovah.
in it's weakness and inability to explain its excistance and the presence of all the life , events and rules of reality surrounding them they still seek comfort in modern day fairytales.

the Truth. however is that there are many gods.
many worlds blessed with many forms of life.
3.5 million years ago the gods seeked a change in this world.
races had arisen and fallen again. But significant markings were not among the remains. the Gods therefore decided to introduce an anomaly among races
a new concept.
a brand new race, which for the first time ever should gain supremacy not by mere strength. but by intelligence, conflict through intelligence , strength and tactic through intelligence.
there was not a single race even in intelligence blessed enough to fullfill their need for this fysical perfection.
so the gods decided to bless this One race with the Anomaly.
alien to any other races and only equalled by its own brilliance.
the race of man was to be Blessed with the 4 Oracles.
brilliant souls, blessed with warrior skills as if they were to defeat the gods themselves! unmatched in the arts of war , tactics and blessing Humanity with their ever present aura , causing to have the candles in the hearts of men grow to bright and large fires. leading to great deeds !

in this supreme creation the gods were aware that there are just 4 oracles. not overcomeable in the power these oracles had they are ever present.
living longer lives , equally divided by the gods among the people of man.
the meir presence of an oracle in one people led to in increase of power.
an end to the balance, forcing another oracle to regain the balance by being born into one of the peoples suffering under the other oracle's might.
being ever present it meant that whenever an oracle died , he was reborn into a people of need.

the oracles guided man from their birthplace in africa to the deserts and steppes of asia through the plains and forrests of europe.. and across the great sea's.

in their even number and might the oracles lead humanity for over three and a half million years.
the people's of men became great. built great cities , conquered. ruled. and after the passing of their guiding oracle were once again reversed by their enemy people under the presence of another oracle.
Humanity evolved. Creating civilisation and the gods saw that their truly unique plan worked.

their smiling faces turned that day. a day which will be remembered by all for the change that came with its barren sunrise. on the 14th of january , 1434 a Fifth Oracle was born in the small village of saint michelle vinc in the Royal Province of Champagne , belonging to His Royal Highness Charless VII , King of France.

(Europe, 1 year since birth already lead to several significant victories over the enemies of france.)

the people of france had been defeated for a hunderd years thanks to the charismatic presence of an Oracle among the english.
And with his passing the French had been scheduled to receive an oracle to regain the past glory of their great nation. However this was not to be.
A Fifth oracle was born, a presence of ability was shining on the french with a light that brought fear to the eyes of their thriving neighbours..
This Fifth oracle was not of the creating of the gods.
And being able to sense his powerful presence the four looked in France’s direction with shock and awe.
The birth of a Fifth oracle. One with capacities unriveled by any other oracle.
the world , the gods and the system were stunned for a good reason on the 14th of january , the year of our lord 1434.

His name was Vincent mortelgart.
His hair brown and with his steel blue eyes he could have gone through for any normal French young man had it not been for the tremendous amount of charisma… energy surrounding this man. He simply radiated great deeds to come. Just his lone appearance was an inspiring event to any man.

Even though his presence was inspiring, it was little compared to the sight of Vincent’s mastery of the sword. Being born in a small village close to the border of land belonging to the rebellious duchy of Burgundy his hometown had not been a stranger to conflict.
Many times did wary burgundian soldiers found themselves laughingly but somehow disturbed facing but a 15 year old and a sword.
The nervous fun mood surrounding these encounters changed quickly after the boy decapitated and struck down those daring to assail him single-handedly.
All that remained of vincent’s first encounter with the sword had been the 5 meters behind him filled with the bodies of 14 burgundian soldiers, some of them still busy taking their last breath. He didn’t knew how… or what but something inside him was awoken by this contact with the sword… realizing that his performance had been perfect, dodging their every move and making deadly use of his foe’s weak spots.. They never stood a chance.

It’s been five years since vincents first use of the sword.. And the pleasure that he received from being seen as a warrior champion felt good , but it brought the desire for more..
Vincent had been born in a poor , peasant family with a small lap of own ground.
But his father had been a wise man , having recognized that Vincent was meant for greater things then the harvest of summer and the fruits of spring.. he taught him to read and write on an early age, a rare treat for peasants.

On the age of 18 vincent had joined the armee du roi to do what he could do best.
To fight. Even though the officer ranks had been the privilege of the sons of the rich, vincents superiors had seen a light in his young personality. You didn’t have to be of old age and battles of long gone to be able to see that there was something about Vincent.

The way he wielded his sword in the field, every single blow dealt to the enemy had been a little artwork, lifting the hearts of those around him with courage and ableness , for Vincent fought at their side.
Vincent had been given a regiment of 500 men of his majesty’s force and personally retook the town of arras during the arras rising of march 1453. , when he successfully held of a force of 4000 brabant troops with his mere 1400 men during the 1454-55 war , slaughtering the enemy , crashing their moral and sending them home with tales of death, he was promoted to
Brigadier.

It is now 1456 and France somehow found a way out of her 100-year lasting nightmare , somewhere around the same time of vincents birth....

Taking artois , franche comte and Flanders in 2 utterly successful campaigns against the traitor duchy of Burgundy forcing it into a separate peace treaty with France in 1433.
The victories in the west had been aplenty either in that glorious year, French armies managed to break through the English siege at Orleans, while 2 fresh armies secured the province of Calais , picardie and caux. The English king had not been a foolish man , spotting the loss of his advantage in time and realizing that the tide had turned, it occurred not only in his nightmares that this man was faced with british defeats and French forces slowly advanced into Brittany’s direction. England offered France the peace in which Calais, caux and picardie rejoined the French Kingdom in 1433. But this peace did not stand beyond the great year of 1434 when the battle of Gascogne (England 16000 , Brittany 9000 – France 14000) turned into a mayor victory for France. Causing the English to retreat their remaining expeditionary forces to poitiers for reorganization and to search for ways to deal with this change in their eternal opponent. For some reason the French had not been the same foe they had fought for so long.

The armee du roi however used this English redirection to poitiers maximally, overrunning the English at their last save havens in the north , the province of Normandy was lost.
These strongholds had been the only thing in the way of a French offensive on Brittany , which was now slowly getting underway.
Brittany however had spent most of its armies in attempts to gain the French province of vendee but due to defeat in 1429 (at nantes) and the mayor defeat at gascogne in 1434 forced them to retreat their forces to hold the enemy in the northwest.
This left their king little more then to aim all his resources on a victory at Rennes.
And so in the winter of 34/35 the French Commanders faced a problem.

In Poitiers, the English had been able to regroup their forces into an able army of an estimated 12000 man infantry and over 5000 cavalry. The English had realized that the French army at Toulouse of 9000 infantry and a 1000 cavalry would not be able to hold them, a victory there would leave the rich southern provinces of france undefended and might lead to a reestablished alliance with burgundy.

France’s main army had been marching on rennes where brittany’s remaining forces desperately tried to hold against France’s armee du roi measuring an 34000 infantry and 19000 cavalry with superior tech.
The winter of 34/35 kicked in very strong and the English dugg in at poitiers prolonging their offensive on Toulouse for the spring months.

It was in this moment that the French offensive on armor bursted out and led to a catastrophic defeat for Brittany. Only a mere 5000 men got away alive from rennes, while the French took rennes , brest and when in February nantes fell to the armee du roi Brittany surrendered to France’s demands. ‘‘You shall pay half your income to France and the blue flag will wave over armor and bretagne, you are never to fight alongside any foe of France evermore’’

Sealing England’s fate in vendee in summer of 1435 had not been hard.. and with a harsh effort England’s king sealed his peace offer , in which the nations of England en France concluded peace under the terms of poitiers, gascogne and Normandy to france.
This event itself meant the end of any great English ambitions in Europe. Though the English had fought gallantly, their forces were heavily decimated and the war costs had been massive.
This new France somehow managed to face impossible odds and come out of it stronger.
Its economy renewed , the spirit of the people refreshed. Great things were about to happen for the people of France.
