Yoghurt´s Byzantine GC

Scenario description: The year is 1419 and the Byzantine Empire is threaten by the victorius turks. This scenario has modified the strenght of both the Byzantine Empire and the Ottomans to make it slightly easier to survive as the Byzantine player. Several leaders and events are also added for BYZ to ensure a more fun game experience as the Byzantines. Some events from the agc are also included. Persia is also included as a vassal to the Timurids to enable an early start as Persia.

Fun for you who likes the Byzantines and wish to create an Empire out of the old Romans... Also fun to play Persia a bit earlier then is allowed in the original GC.

Requirements: This scenario requires Europa Universalis 2 version 1.07 For updates look at <http://user.tninet.se/~vwu345r/Europa/yoghurt.htm>

Installments: First, make a back up of your BYZ-taged leaders and event files. Insert the files included this scenario into your EU 2 folder.

Playable nations: All

Credits: Concept and coding by Yoghurt. Thanks to the AGC crew aswell, cause some of the events comes from the agc.

Note: Fixed a minor bug and updated the scenario when this post was last updated.

In Russia, the great cities of Kiev and Novgorod have reached the epitome of power, wealth, devotion and trade pouring in to their great citadels. The Empire/1452 Scenario (For EU 1)

Scenario description: It is the year 1452. Historically one year before the Byzantin Empire felled in the hands of the Turks. The scenario simulates the world in 1452, with monarchs and an edited map with new nations such, for example, as Aragon and the Emirate of Karaman. You will take command of the Byzantine Empire, and not only evade your own destruction, but hopefully, also bring the Empire back to glory...

The monarch files can, without worries erase your old ones, as they merely add monarch for the period 1452-1492 and keep your old ones (if you have IGC installed). If you have an english language version, insert the text.csv file in the engconfig folder. If you have a swedish language version, insert the text.csv file in the ssveconfigfolder instead. The scenario files shall, of course, be inserted in your scenario folder.

Playable nations: Byzantine Empire (If you want to play another nation, just open the 1452.eug file with wordpad and change the “HEI” tag to the tag of the nation you want to play, then save it.)

Credits: Concept, coding and graphic by Yoghurt. The graphic for Aragon was, how ever, found on Txinis site.
