WAD: Unable To Send Convoys Through Suez Even After Retaking

As Italy, supplying your Ethiopian troops is hard. We know this.

However, even after you seize all of the british territories surrounding the suez canal, you still cannot send convoys through. The end result is being unable to supply East Africa unless you have a direct land supply route from Libya.

The convoys get redded out with the hover text "This convoy needs at least 1 transport" - clearly an error in any case. Cancelling the convoy and remaking it has no effect.

In other words, the convoy should be possible as soon as some of suez slips out of allied hands, and the popup text for the convoy should read something like "This convoy cannot travel through the suez canal while it remains in enemy hands"

It also does for me... Could it be that it was fixed in our version Max? I remember some changes there.

Any update on this? I've got a save file. Same thing happening to me. I'm Italy. I've captured Port Said, Suez and El Arish and my convoys (or regular fleets) won't move through the Suez. I get the same message as YokoZar on the hover text on my convoys.

IIRC, in a game as Romania, I was able to send supplies to Italy's troops in East Africa only after the province south of Suez was also controlled by the Axis. Can't remember the name of the province though.

Vulture--this might be WAD, instead of a Bug. I continued playing my game and as Tel mentioned; once you take the third province down from the Mediterranean, I believe it's called Marsa--something; then the Canal does open up; ships pass through and convoys resume. So you need Port Said, Suez and then Marsa something.

If it doesn't help, I suppose it will be fixed in next patch.
