Alexandria a colony in 1700
In the 1700 scenario, the Age of Enlightenment, there are numerous Ottoman privinces, inlcuding Alexandria and others that have only Colonial status.

And this is a bug? IE you are sure this is not deliberate?

As far as I can find out, Alexandria was always a relatively important city that never declined to the level of having only 420 people. This means that eg, Portugal could attack and convert Alexandria, Quattara, SInia and Cataract to Portuguese Catholic if they wanted.
The Other scenarios all have large populations. 1419, 1773 and 1795 give Alexandria 25,000. In 1492 its 30,000, 1617 75,500, and 1700 its 420. |
