" As lot of troubles take place in Bourbon, a Noble family, the Patenostre, have dinner in their old castle. At the table sits Francis de Patenostre, 35 years of age. Also sits Valérie, his wife. The sides of the Table are occupied by their Three children: Carl, 14years old, Caroline, 8years Old, and Alexis, the last born, 2years old. The Family is very christian, and respect the Pope on every decision he takes.

Suddently, the front door opens, and enters Tania de Laurent, cousin of Francis, she is 32years old.

Francis - Cousine, comme il est bon de vous revoir après une si longue absence. ( Cousin, it is so good for us to see you after your long absence )

Valérie - Mais ou étiez vous donc passé très chèere? ( But where have you been, dear? )

A man rides south into Bourbon, bearing the look of a landed noble, but one who has not seen much battle in his life. As he approaches the fortress of the Duke, he is admitted with minimum difficulty, as his papers show that he comes as a representative of Bourbonaise's northern neighbor, the mighty and unpredictable Duchy of Normandie, which happens to be ruled by the second greatest noble house in all the English lands, the House of York.

The man politely bows before the Duke, obviously skilled in the ways of courtly ettiquette. He begins to speak in perfect French, untouched by the accent of a man who had lived on the British Isles.

"Bonjour, mon Seigneur. I am Sir Louis Amcathra, nephew of the Lord Baron of Cherbourg and ambassador of Duke Richard of Normandie. His Grace the Duke hopes that you will accept me as his representative to your court here. He also hopes that you will work with him to ensure stability and peace in these lands. Truly, your predecessor did much to damage that peace. However Duke Richard has much faith that you will be able to easily surpass that man who came before you."

A man enters, He bows before the Duke and introduce himself as Ferran D'Guille from Aragon.

“Noble Duke of Bourbon,

I have come to, on behalf of the King of Aragon, extend a hand in friendship and hopes of future co-operation between our realms, in areas such as trade, for the benefit of both our people. If it would please you I humbly ask for permision to stay here a few months, so that the connections betwen our realms may grow into friendship and prosperity.”

As the sun begins to set in the sky, a number of men approach the gates of the Duke's fortress, and are allowed entrance. They are covered in the gleaming heraldry of Normandie and the House of York. In the half-shadows, the man is still clearly recognizable.

The Duke of Normandie is granted admittance before Duke Francis, and the meeting between the two goes into the night. After his men are treated to fine French hospitality, Richard sets off in the morning.
