I decided to try out Texas, as its such a nice country, located between Mexico and the USA.

Sadly, we seem to start in a war with our neighbour to the South..

But we got a decent army, 2 regiments of good infantry, and a pretty awesome leader in Sam Houston.

We'll definitely win this war handsomely..

But well..

They also got a leader... AND they get lucky..

This isn't going any good for us.. :(

We lost that battle, and a few more.. and our last defensive stand was in Houston....

In the victory screen, does the star mean prestige and the bloodied man's face mean war exhaustion?

You mean the battle report? yeah, thats the icons for it.

Isn't it the shortest AAR ever ? :D

Even if this was far too quick  it's really nice to have been able to see this ! Okay its just a few new screens, but now we are able to see more what we will se for HORUS while playing Vicky II ... and that is awsome !

Is it me, or is this the first ever AAR I saw Johan doing? (And you can't say Johan doesn't finishes his AARs. :p)

It's the first time I notice that : on the right of the screen we now have a resumé about which diplomatic status we have with lots of countries !

That seems really great, a great idea tht will be much usefull I can bet it ;)

Thanks to Johan for this new discovery (at least for me ^^)

Looks great! And five minutes must surely be an AAR record :)

It look's like the dice rolling combat system from EU 3 has been introduced to the game. I don't know if this has been mentioned before.

No alliance with the US? Those 3 regiments just sitting there would sure be nice to have. Looks like Mexico starts with 9 regiments / 27,000 troops. And you never used your national focus to make more soldiers!
