Sound (OST)
Dear Developers !
Can you describe this part of the Game? Especially I'm have some questoions, such as: 1. All sound in the game gonna be from 18-20 century ? 2. Can you include some classic music of modern authors ? 3. If not, can you make the menu in which user can chose the music and the moments to play ( for example - play Track1 just then you declare the war ). For example I can advise music of Nakagawa Koutarou -- I've heard OST from "Code Geass" and Understand that exactly this game show Other ways of History, of Independence War. And they're awesome! Dear future Players! Please post here Music which you prefer to heard in Game ! Of course i think it should be a litlle bit classical =) |

It will probably be very easy to replace the game music with some of your own choice, I presume.

Just turn of the sound, and use a normal media player in the background, that way you can listen to what ever you want.

It is indeed a shame. Vicky's soundtrack was the best out of any PI game for me by far.

Even though I quite like Andreas Waldetoft's music, I do hope Vicky 2 has the same sort of 19th century Classical music as Vicky 1 did. Can't think of anything else that will fit...

I agree, the sound made it really easy to forget about the bleak user interface and get into a proper 19th century mood. Now think how good it could be with a nice period-looking interface.

Though EUII constantly made me think about either vinyards or springtime trysts. Not exactly that immersive

Radetzky's march by Strauss and The triumphal march by Verdi are two must-have for Vicky 2
![]() By the way what was the complete soundtrack of Victoria 1? I don't remember right now. |

Some of my favourite tracks in Vicky 1 were Verdi's Requiem, Aida and Wagner's Kaisermarsch, I think...

Given how Andreas Waldetoft managed to capture the feel and setting of EU3 and HoI3 for me, I have little doubt that he can pull it off for V2.
In addition, he seems to be re-recording some classical music for the other games in his own style, but still old enough pieces without licensing issues. |

The quartet by Hadyn was always good too, I still listen to that on its own occasionally.

EU III and EU Rome music is very good, some musics (especially EU III) stuck in my mind can can't quit. So I think Vicky 2 music will be good too.

My favorite song is the opening song that plays at the menu, with the brass overshadowing the light sings in the background.
