From Alfred Packer:

And now the nominations are closed! There are 5 AARs here which have received multiple nominations for the 2008 CrusadAAR's Chalice. Please, take your time, read through these little gems and then vote on the one you think is the best. There's no rush, you have all of March to make up your mind!

OK, new poll is up. Make sure to vote again if you already voted in the old thread. I'll be deleting that one.

And AP - you don't get off that easily. ;) While it may be admirable to pull yours from competition as penance, it received a fair number of nominations and deserves to be included.

Voting resumes and lasts for 30 days. Make sure to give each a solid read to make sure your vote is as informed as possible.

Thank you coz for fixing the poll and ComradeOM for noticing the error in the last poll.

Well, what can I say, but if you liked voting in the Chalice, here is your chance to do it twice! Happy Voting everyone!

AP - you should probably make a note in the GD area thread to make sure folks know what's going on.

Noooooooooooo, we were past EU3 in votes!!!

I know...at least we are already back to 21 votes...now we just need the 2 dozen who voted phargle to revote and I can pretend this screw-up didn't really affect anything :)

You realize, should that not occur, that I will drive to Georgia and choke the life out of you with my bare hands; and when you expire, I will kill myself as well, so that I can follow you to whatever final resting place your spirit winds up residing in, and from there I will haunt you for eternity, ever mindful of my all-consuming hatred of your error, a hatred that will drive me to slowly gain in might until I am the master of that underworld realm, after which I will obliterate your spiritual remains with whatever unholy power I thus acquire; and having engaged in that blasphemy, I will weep eternal tears as I watch reality come undone as a result of my crime.

Well, poo.

I see who you quoted there.

It was enough agony trying to choose between the Crovans and the Knýtlings last time, and to be honest I am not even sure who I voted for. Here we go with the agony again... :(

Alright everyone! After phargle's...inspirational...speech there...well, we've got 24 votes to the OscAARs 52 votes.

Yeah, we were ahead until last night, but I didn't come here to talk about that...well, I did actually, but just not right now.

Remember Rocky III? Go ahead and 'Google' it or 'Wikipedia' it if you don't.

Remember when Rocky got the snot knocked out of him by Clubber Lang? Well, think of last night, when the vote got reset as Chalice'08's Clubber Lang moment. The mean old OscAARs knocked us down and took a 52 to 0 lead in the total vote count.

Today, we are fighting balding wrestlers in garishly coloured doo-rags in promotional bouts gone awry.

Tomorrow...tomorrow, my friends, we get back into that ring with Clubber Lang.

You know what happened when Rocky got back in the ring with Clubber Lang?

Knock-Out.

If you love Rocky.
If you love Flag-Shorts.
If you love tales of redemption.
If you love roid-raging liliputian actors with speech impediments.

By gosh, if you love America (or whatever country you live in),

Then vote...again...in the Chalice!

AP out.

I'll be cheering for you from the crowds, Phargy!

It's the...EYE OF THE TIGER!

Man, this is turning into a brutal race.
