Turkey in HoI2: Unit names, Ministers, Leaders, etc.

This is fantastic work that you are doing here, but I would change your unit name for light-armoured to be the same for armoured: light-armoured upgrade to 'basic' armoured when that tech is researched.

The facilities of TamTAŞ established in Kayseri, started production in 1928; until 1939, a total of 112 aircraft –15 German Junkers A-20s, 15 US Hawk fighters, 10 US Fledging trainers, 15 German Gotha liaison aircraft –were produced.  Nuri Demirag Facilities (Istanbul): 24 Nu.D. 37 aircraft and many gliders were produced in the aircraft facility founded by Nuri DEMİRDAĞ in Istanbul in 1936. By late 30's, his ranch in Yesilkoy, Istanbul was transformed into an airfield (today: Istanbul Ataturk International Airport) with hangars, ateliers and a flight school with around 150 pilots in training. The logo on airplanes he constructed would contain Nu.D. (his initials).   Vecihi Hürkuş Facility (Ankara): In year 1931, Pilot Vecihi Hurkus managed to make a tour of Turkey with a plane he built himself in his Ankara factory. Next year, he hired Selahattin Resit Bey and his crew to construct the first prototype Turkish airplane (MMV-1).

THK - Turkey during the 1936-1951 timeframe (which CORE is modeled upon) pretty much bought all their military aircraft abroad. Given the types of aircraft THK produced I think scratching them from the roster (for CORE at least) is probably a good thing. The CORE tech setup differs from Vanilla, and as such we do have a distinction between foreign purchase and actual home production of military aircraft (combat materiel rather than trainers, transports and ambulances).
Petrol Ofisi A.Ş. - We've removed all petroleum producers as military tech teams within CORE. I'll have Dec take a look at your suggestions for inclusion, as there surely seem to be other candidates we might use.

Domestic aircraft industry was upcoming at the time, but within CORE it's not enough to warrant domestic fighter and bomber production (just foreign purchase). So we're mainly looking for individuals that were at the forefront of aviation tactics and military thinking, rather than those involved in domestic aircraft research.

You are correct about Sabiha Gokcen's popularity, being Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's daughter and all, but that's also due to her role as the first female fighter pilot of the world. She did participate in military action as early as 1936 during the Dersim Revolt in Eastern Turkey. Therefore she's a historic figure in terms of women rights, but I'm not sure how to place her in a tech team or even as a general, as she never got promoted to the rank of a general. On the other hand, she's a great flavor event material. As a last note, I have the feeling that the Turkish Air Force is a little underrepresented in the game, as it is in the case with Turkish IC, metal and energy resources as well as land forces. Turkish Air Force was the strongest in all of Balkan Peninsula by 1940, until the Germans came. The entire air force consisted of 500 airplanes according to Turkish Air Force official website (also in English). Quote:
