Westernisation of Pagans

Hi, I haven't payed this game (Eu-2 and 3) for a long while, but with NA out I came back...

What conditions are necessary to loose the whiteman penalty as a Pagan and be able to build ships / recruit cavalry?

Playing as Inca, I did everything I used to do back in the Eu-2 days to achieve this, but looks like this has changed.

You need at least a Monarch with admin 5 and a latin neighbour with relation 100 or more, while it gets speeded up by good Monarch stats, a statesman advisor and not beeing narrowminded.

The event is almost the same in NA. The only thing that's changed is that Indian and Chinese techgroup nations can westernise as well.

That's actually a hell of a lot easier than for the Eastern Tech Group to Westernize. Guh.

Yeah, and the moslem techgroup has it even harder, as they'll only move into the eastern techgroup....

On the other hand, the penalty for the Eastern and Muslim techgroups is a lot lower.
