Finland alternate AAR: Frozen tears of heroism

Rapidly does hitch from his dream, covered with sweat whilst his heart clacks as mad. Hardly breathlessly as if somebody chasing him, quickly run to window to catch some air. He has this feeling in himself like all that happen yesterday destruction, suffer, dead corpses everywhere … It was just another nightmare that he had lately. Still visually anxious, he lean on window and start peer to the street that was go along his house. Propped up with his arms at the window, he begins circulating with eyes and slightly starts observing. It was late March therefore the streets was covered with white blanket. While above skies gray scuds has spreading, slow and lightweight breeze has slowly swung tired branches from the trees, gently carried news paper which has flit through the air. Young and skinny boy which has selling newspapers in the street has chasing papers in the wind which has slipped from his hands. It was early morning so on the street there was just few people whose hurry somewhere, probably one of those people who are always late on the work. Whence dose calm, he start preparing for going out from his house. Dressed up he does take his reading glasses from the work desk and put them into his coat pocket. It has been passed a long time since he last time was in Finland, he just returned from his recently journey to India. There was warm around his hart, and glad that he is finally returned to his beloved country. While exiting from his house he noticed skinny boy how still chasing the papers, he decide to buy one copy to see what’s new. With papers below his arms, passing near docks of Helsinki he extended his way in to the pub, where does hopes to relax and read newspapers in peace.


Deeply immerse in article: …yesterday on the streets of Tampere, there was founded dead body. Causes of death are still unfamiliar; we only know initials of the unfortunate victim I.V… After couple moments, one fellow interrupt him whilst reading. Guy pat Mannerheim shoulder, smiled, with deep look and exciting voice he says: old friend, whence you here? Mannerheim slowly taking off his glasses and put them into table, turned and with look start examine guy, trying to remember who actually he is. Slightly scrolling look from downside to upside. Guy has had heavy brown boots with woolen wrap around leggings. Around waist there was leather belt with sheath in which has been placed holster, brown coat with deep pockets sideward which has stretching till knees. Lower piece of coat was somewhat burned, you could fell smell of salt from his coat and suds for shaving from his face. The guy was very tall and he had short black hair. Still standing in front Mannerheim smiled he looked with his deep brown eyes and waited for answer. Mannerheim finally stands up and slightly starts expand his smile.

Mannerheim: Jhonny Douglish that’s you, old rabble I didn’t recognize you without your beard.
Jhonny: I’ve think that you will never remember (he handshake with Mannerheim and join him at the table)
Jhonny: How and when did you return, I’m thinking that you are still in India?
Mannerheim: ah.. I returned after two years after all these years I just want relax little and then see what’s next. Plenty expeditions and traveling I’m enough of that.
Mannerheim: what bring you here?
Jhonny: lately I’m often here. I founded cheap dealer who selling me goods, about six months.
Mannerheim: someone familiar?
Jhonny: owner of the one store couple blocks away Aapo Juote
Mannerheim: never heard
Jhonny (continuing talking): just before one week I berth my ship in Helsinki harbor and waiting shipping goods to be loaded
Jhonny: so you say that you returned finally forever, excellent we must celebrate that
Mannerheim: unfortunately you know that I wasn’t at home for a long time and my cellar is empty there is nothing more then dust and spider web. I assume that we will not drink water …
Jhonny: no worry my friend I have quality whiskey in my ship
Mannerheim: what are we waiting for lets go to yours ship and then to my place to taste that whiskey.


Both slowly stand up while repulsing stools from the table. Mannerheim stores his reading glasses in coat and takes newspapers. With Jhonny he started a trip to Jhonny ship. After couple moments they were in front the ship. It was Merchant vessel which probably served to transport goods and passengers. Soon they were in the largest room on the ship. First they come to one small room in which reside Jhonny, at the end of room there was one door which lead to much bigger room. After they entered into the bigger room Mannerheim has waited Jhonny to found whiskey chest, while he examined room. With spider webs in corners room was full of all kind weapons, suits, boots, finest liquor … Jhonny shout here I founded them, first he remove old coats which was on the top chest and start moving chests to center of the room. Soon he pulled four chests, breathless he says: there that will be enough for a couple years. Lets go out of this room I will choke myself if I stay here. Mannerheim: what we will do about whiskey chests? Jhonny: I will tell my boys to load that in the truck outside which we borrowed from Aapo Juote to transport goods. Both were standing on the front part of the ship, and with smoking cigars watched in extensive sea.
