hey all, i apologise upfront if this question has been asked/answered already but who the hell is the guys face on the world map???

on the main screen, normal view, top right hand side of Russia province called 'chukotka' just above and to the right of the prov. name there's a man's face. cartoon type thing.

first of all, has anyone else seen it?
and second who is it supposed to be?

cheers in advance. oh, version 1.03 if it makes a diff.

Heh, I never saw it. But I am relatively new at this game and I never look at that part of the map.
Here, I took to liberty to post a screenshot

IIRC there is one in another game. Possibly EU2 or HOI. But that one was in profile.

While it's possible its an easter egg, it's also possible it's just pareidolia like the man in the moon, i.e. a design that happens to appear to conform to a recongnizable shape, but purely by chance.

Yes, for some reason they actually do. There is some article on Dagens Industri about it. Just search their webpage for paradox.
