Problem with viewing map and hover-over windows.
I have a technical problem that I need your help with please.
Game Version & Patch (incl. publisher): CK paradox interactive v1.05 OS & build/SP: Win Home SP1 (5.1, Build 2600) Computer, CPU & speed:Packard Bell, Intel (R) Celeron (R) CPU 2.60GHz RAM:768 RAM Free HDD space:1488MB Video (brand, model, driver, memory):NVIDIA Geforce 6600 GT w/ driver 6.14.0010.9371 (English) & Display Memory 128MB Sound (brand, model, driver):Creative SB Live! Audio [D800] w/ driver 5.12.0001.0252 (English) DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) Other: Emachines E19T5W-EU TFT monitor - Resolution 1440x900 I read the stickies but I still have the following problem: I have just purchased and downloaded CK from Gamersgate. The terrain map and I think what's the economic map are pretty much unviewable. It's as if broad bands across the map are out of sync. Also, ALL hover over windows are coloured in light blue and black bands that make any information within them totally unreadable. I have just bought a new TFT monitor, so I wasn't sure if the resolution was causing the problem. I can't see anything that says CK won't work on a 1440x900 resolution. I tried 1280x1024 and that made no difference. Any help/advice you can give would be much appreciated. Thanks

Not sure what was going on with me. I went back into the game before trying any new drivers, and it looked fine! Maybe another program in the background?
Thanks for the advice anyway.

Most troubles with graphs in CK are due to disruptions from other resident programs or else tabbing. Sometimes even ICQ turned on may knock it down. |
