Unable to arrange a marriage
I recently started playing CK.
Scenario: 1066 Patched: 1.05 I am playing as the Duke of Braganza. Even though I am a Duke, I have no liege. The original Duke, Nuno of Prtugal, has just died with no hiers. A relative named Luis of Portugal has inherited. Luis of Portugal is 23 and unmarried. I then saved the game, and used Plock to search for available brides. I got the following: --------------------- Reading data..... Date: June 8, AD 1069. Total number of suitable candidates: 373 Sorting by R-sort. Displaying the top 15 candidates. Honest,Trusting,Coward,Amateurish Pettifogger. However, anytime I attempt to arrange a marriage between Luis of Portugal , the only available females are the ones literally in my demesne/court. I was under the impression that I could/should be able to extend a marriage offer to any other un-married Catholic female age 16+, but I do not see where or how I can select them. For instance, if I wanted Luis of Portugal to be offered to marry Guisla d'Empuries, how would I select her ( i do not see her in the list, but I do know where she is on the world map)? What am I missing? |

You're trying to offer marriage to your own realm, that's why you only see you're own courtiers. If you want to offer marriage to someone in another court, you must do so through that court's controller.
So if you want to marry a woman who's in the King of England's court, click on his shield like you would to grab a title or declare war. In the list, one of the options will be offer marriage. You can then select who you want to marry from your court, i.e. your Duke (but only someone in your dynasty, not a non-related courtier) and who you want to marry in their court. The AI then will respond within a few weeks. |
