Interface Discussion

Since the user interface is among the most important elements of a game like EU3, I'd like to point out some of my observations in the demo (as well as collecting observations from others). Of course, some of them may already be outdated since the game will have changed from the demo was put together, but anyway:

1. It doesn't seem like I'm able to "box select" multiple armies in several provinces anymore.

2. This is a bit related to point 1: It's also quite difficult to select multiple armies in the same provinces using the same approach. Overall army selection is a bit too "fiddly" for my taste.

3. I wrote this in another thread, but it'd be nice to have an option to keep the town view out of sight. I use it rarely and it looks much uglier than in EU2 (IMO), so I prefer to view the map on that space instead.

4. Beer tastes good. Eh can't think of more in my current state.

1&2) It is possible, albeit little more difficult than in EU 2

I agree with number 3. the town view is stupid, pointless, and a waste of space.

It's tricky, but possible. Likewise with selecting provinces: I often end up selecting the province below the one I am clicking on. I guess this has to do with the tilt on the map on zooming in somehow. I'll get used to it.

I don't mind it, and think it looks nice. If you click a building, you see when it was built.
I'd prefer it to do more though -- clicking the marketplace should let me see the COT info for the province, clicking the "temple" should give religion info, etc..

Pretty sure it will not take long until we see an interface mod that removes the graphical city view
