THE SUN EMIR

Ghazi...
It's an unknown word to the most of the world. If you ask even an ordinary Roman, what the word means, he will in the most cases dont know. He don't know what exists just beyond the walls who protect his city from intruders. He is not alone. Even the western princes and kings, yes, even the holy emperor of Germany himself does not know what Ghazi means.

For us, the mighty sons of the great Alp Arslan, who have travelerd hundreds of miles from the dry steppes of the east, it means Life. It has given us strength to survive in the harshest conditions, to repel our many enemies and protect our very existence. When we hunger and thirst and are surronded by enemies ten to one, the only thing who has prevented us from begin to panic is the thought of our noble emir and his honorable family.

That is the belive who has given us the power to win against all odds again and again and again. It is a belive who is so noble, that it is worth the cost of bilions of brave men. It is something truly worth to die for!

Ghazi is a truly forgeted contry(ies). It has even't got a description by the developers of AGCEEP! I belive that they think that it just a waste of time, because noone is ever going to play as it.

But soon that will change. Ghazi is an empire destinied to rule over most of Europe and the Middle east. The people of Ghazi is maded by fire and iron.
Do you belive in the scruopth in the historybooks? I promise you that they have fooled you. Historybooks are full of lies and afterconstructions!

Chapter 1: The rebirth of the Eastern Empire

Rules: AGCEEP 1.41 Normal/Normal

Ghazi in 1419

In 1419, Ghazi where relatively little, only a two-province contry. It army where wastly outnumbered by the next-door Ottoman janizaries. Indeed, the situation looked rather bad.
But one thing where good for the Ghazians, at least, after centuries of being serving different emirs of different emirates, they where united under one banner. It was Uthman', the Emir of Teke who had united them. He where one of the strongest rulers the Ghazians had ever seen. Uthmam' had a vision, he wanted to resurect his people to the glory days of Alp Arslan. He took the tittle "Imperator of all Ghazis" with where a great provacation against the Ottoman sultan.

Ghazis domestic polices

He declarated that it where time for expanding its borders, and began to recruit 3000 cavalerists in Smyrna. he also changed domestic polices towards offensive doctrine, and he was indeed quite satisfied whit the domestic polices.

Uthman' wanted to take on Constantinople, the last city of the once glorious Eastern Roman empire. He telled his generals that they should prepare to invade and siege the city. In april 1419, his cavalry where ready, and he hired some mercanires to assist them. The time had came to take on Constantinople. Uthman sended a diplomat to leave his declaration of war in Constantinople. He never returned, whit increased the hate of Romans among the lords of Ghazi.

Counqer!

In the folowing month, his troops completely destroyed the small Eastern Roman army, and putted the city under siege. He then hiered a couple of mercanires to reinforce them. A starvation came to the city, and slowly began to weaken its people.

Reinforcements

The waiting where frustrating for Uthman', because he where worried about that an Morean amphibious assalut on his lands may come. Fourtanely, the Moreans where attacked by the Duchy of Athens, and where busy whit fending them of. Also, Uthman's troops where provided by better weapenons in january 1420. The odds looked very good. He dreamed about the day when he took the imperian crown on his head in Constantinople.

Better weapenons

The Eastern Romans surrendered in september 1420. Uthman', where noble and mercifull, and did not plunder the city. He decleared himself as Emir of Rome, and the only rightfull hier of Ceasar. It were a moment of Glory for the Ghazians. With a new lord in Constantinople, cristianity in the East where now dying, and sunni moslems over the whole world celibrated.

But the Ottomans did not celibrate, the sultan where furious that someone stealed his city and his tittle. Soon, the real threat for the emirate of Rome had to be dealed with.

A little question: Will you creaTE more events or monarchs for Ghazi, If I remember Well , it is historically annexed in 1429.

I have never learnt how to make new events. In 1429 I will get a chooise, either get anexed by the Ottoman empire, or declare war against them. But I need to get a contrysise of 5 provinces before 1424, otherwise the Ottomans will take Smyrna.

I use many flags and coat of arms who differs from the orginals.
