Desert Eagle: A 1941 German AAR

"It is a good day,"
"That it is general, that it is,"
Field Marshal Erwin Rommel cast a stone into the Suez Canal as he talked with General von Arnim, commander of the elite Afrika Corps. Across the canal Rommel's spearheads were reaching Jerusalem. Smoke obscured the horizon as dozens of ships burned along the Red Sea shore. German and Italian guns had ambushed an entire British fleet along the Red Sea and sunk an aircraft carrier, three battleships, and twelve cruisers. Italian and other German forces arched south towards Khartoum and eventually Pretoria. In the Middle East the Turks steel themselves for the eventual onslaught of nazi forces and the iraqi governemnt flees to India. Pro-Nazi governments in Syria and Iraq sieze British airfields and supply depots. Montgomery's Crusader and Matilda tanks rust in the hot sun of Libya and Egypt. British forces gather in Bombay to coordinate the Western Defence of India. Stalin watches on with grim foreboding. New German demands will come. Baku is a short step from Iraq, the Germans will seize Abadan before the British are able to successfully damage the massive refinery. Benito Mussolini parades through Alexandria in a Roman chariot, a crown of leaves reminiscent of the Ancient Roman Emperors. The US is shocked at this turn of events and isolationist resistance stiffens. Nationalist Spain seizes the oppurtunity and occupy's Gibralter as German submarines surprise attack the Portugese Azores Islands. The 1st German V2 strikes Britain as Werner von Braun develops the V3 which will reach the US. In the words of Churchill after the fall of the Suez Canal,"Truley this is our darkest hour."

This is my general idea for my 1st AAR. Where to i send the finished copy? How do i do it? Im new to AARs but full of ideas.

Good start Red_Marshal. The desert campaign is an interesting one. Looks like you're in the right forum now so just keep posting the updates in this thread.
