MT will determine the max stats of your leaders, you're probably all familier with the concept in one form or another. In this system it will be much harder to build up a high MT score. In fact, there will be no "building up" at all, because points will reset to 0 after every session. This is to prevent large MT scores from developing over time, and should be more realistic.


You will get points for every player-player war. That is, any state of war between individual players counts as one war, they don't mesh into alliance wars. So if England and France were in an alliance at war with Spain, it would be counted in MT as one war between England and Spain, and one war between France and Spain.

You get .5 MT points for each war you're fighting, and .25 for each war you win. If at any point you get to 8 WE, you get another 1 MT, max of one time per session.

Tonio's leader generator will be used for this since it has an MT system built in already. It starts you off with a default of 7 max leader stats, and each MT point increases that by one.

There are other things your MT can get you though. If you get up to 8 MT, you can have a CC editted in to a province of your choice. It's not a trade in, just a reward. If your MT is lower than 8 in any following sessions however, it'll be editted out again.

Drake and I also discussed weapons and naval manus being given if you get up to 5 MT(i think), with the requirement increasing by .5 MT for every weapons/naval manu you own.

This system might be open for adjustment at the beginning

1general/1admiral will be generated as a base
players get 1admiral and 1general extra for each mt-point they have

so :
war = 0.50mt
win = 0.25mt
8we = 1mt


Bonus :
5MT = 1 weapon or navalmanu of choise in prov of choise (+0.5 for every manu of that type that you own)
8MT = 1 barrack in capitol or prov of your choosng( you need to reach 8mt each session to keep it, if you fall below that you loose it again)

5-8MT is a bonus ontop of your mt value thus you won't generate less leaders if you get the manu or barrack

Land/naval slider locked
the land/naval slider is locked at 5

Vassal/conversionrule :
when your forcevassalt or forceconverted you have to stay like that till your monarch dies

when converted you need to dow whoever converted you and win the war only after that can you convert back

when vassalized you need to dow whoever vassalt you to break it
**fake wars aren't alowed**

in both cases the above stil aplys you can't dow before the monarch that suffert the conversion/vassal died

note : ill edit in special conversions when the enemy can force or manage to convince his enemy to convert to his religion
(for example ottos manage to convert austria(nuts but funny)
same rules aply as above

Stabhit rule
-moment you reach 99ws the timer starts running , if you can stil stabhit 2years after gaining 99ws
-and the player is at -3stab

the he is forced to accept the next stabhitting peace

We are currently on Daylight Savings Time (Summer Time, for you Europeans) in the USA. So presumably, Drake means that we are starting at 7 pm EDT (2300 GMT, 0100 CET).

If it doesnt then I need a game to play... so I would be able and I liked to play in one of the old CQS games (or it was a Mr Liffords game... dont remember, hehe).
In that case my options would be:

But as I can only commit to a game a week if ATE 3 works, I wont be able to join you as perm.

Anyway, I came up with a little VP system that I think will work rather nicely. I posted it in the old thread so I wouldn't spam up this nice neat one

A Human Burgundy would create too much a-historical tension in the area
BTW will Provence Bourbonais and Bearn stay unvassalized ? I'd expect them to be vassalls of France ...

Objectivity in EUMP makes my head hurt, but it makes my head hurt more when people claim it'll motivate me.

My priorities in every game I play are thus, absolutely and unfailingly: First, to survive, and when that is accomplished, to have fun. You're not going to get me to change my relationship to the game by telling me what my goals are.

Of course, none of this matters, because the worst case scenario is something like the above is implemented and I just ignore it.
