In my last game AI controlled OE had event "lets take Hungary" in 1443, although OE was barely "taken" by other states and rebels. In these conditions this was a suicide attack. Does the event chceck the "conditions"?

Since monarch modifiers are cancelled when a new monarch takes the throne, this means the 480 months in the event are misleading. Either we need to script new events for each monarch to give bonuses (possibly lessening as reaction against her increases) or we need to make her a dormant monarch that can replace several other monarchs when Ahmad dies. Removing two-thirds of the intended effect makes this event and the Ottomans quite weak.
Ottoman Cores: I don't know if it's intentional, but when the Ottomans get a core on Podolia, they don't have cores on any province touching Podolia - neither Moldovia or Wallachia are ever considered Ottoman cores. This makes it hard for them to conquer Podolia, since keeping Moldovia as a one-province vassal usually means Poland adds it to their holdings.
Ottoman Rule is Returned: This event happens even if Smyrna is conquered by a third nation (Byzantium, Karaman, the Knights, et cetera). The event text doesn't make any sense in that case and it triggers an event for the Ottomans that won't have any effect. We should add the trigger that Ghazi (or the Ottomans?) own Smyrna to this event

I think we should have her for twenty years, with new events fireing for each Sultan. That would give a very obvious description to the player, when it says "triggering Kosem Sultana for Sultan XX" etc. Having different monarchs would also work of course, but that would be less self-explaining IMO, since apparently the same monarchs are slept and woken.. unless we add Kosem Sultana's name to each monarch, but that's not how we name monarchs. I dont have access to the actual values for her, but since it's a bug fix, I think you can give her the values for later monarchs as you see fit, in order to balance the event, and make other options (if there are any) interesting, if not in every game, so at least in 10% of the games or under very special circumstances.

ther is a problem with TOS monarch "06711 Giuliano II de' Medici" of which I suggested to remove the "II"!
Well, he is effectively correct since his uncle Giuliano ruled in Florence from 1469 (he was only 16 and his brother Lorenzo 21) to 1478 until he was assassinated in the Pazzi conspiracy...

But in nonarchs.tos there is only Lorenzo il Magnifico even if he ruled alone only from 26 april 1478 to 8 april 1492.

So what to do? a new monarch "Lorenzo and Giuliano de' Medici" from 3 dec 1469 to 26 april 1478 or let it stay as it is?

i noticed a bug during the 100 years war that i explain in another Thread (british isles and France).
If BUR does'nt support King Henry In event "I want the crown of france" we have at the death of Charles VI a France in Ile de France and a Dauphine. I use the last version of the game.

Another info: in my last game OE conquered the Knight in 1450 but noone event fires to give 'em the isle of malta.
Do you have cancel it?

Sorry, I read it but forgot to reply. I'll try out these two new changes (and the China add-on) next week, since it seems I'll have time on Sunday for a new verson of Fodoron's AI files, with the changes that's been more or less agreed upon so far. Unfortunately his AI set-up will have to be redone for 1.40, but I think I'll make some 1.39 tests first, to not change two parameters at the same time.

What do you need, an updated version of the zip that is currently hosted on the web site?

Another use for a script is when we have to insert knowledge of all new provinces into the inc files. If province X, that is neighbouring Y, is in the known list, insert Y. But you might already have thought of it..
