I am sitting here as i write this with a coffee [black!] staring out at the Scottish rain [ surprising weather eh?] and i have had an idea which i am going to attempt using the acceptall and freedom cheats to make this work. i would like anyone who has attempted this or something similar to tell me how it went! or suggest anything that would make this better.

The Ultimate War

Aliies>>Members as of 1936 [other minors may be added later as game progresses

Axis>>Soviet union &Germany [and any others they wish to add]

The Pacific Alliance>>Japan and America [again and any they wish to add]


Im going to Make America Fascist and ally them with japan in 1936

I intend on Turning The soviet Union National socialist and making them join the axis in 1936 [trigger the unholy alliance event]

The im going to Load as United kingdom [Normal/furious--come on it will be hard enough ] and let the fun [and sheer hell] commence!


Suggestions/comments/ideas?

I'd like to see an AAR of that. Although you don't have to keep loading the game as every country to mod that, you can just edit the alliances in the save game file.

Also, I suggest that you make Australia and New Zealand with the US and Japan. And up the 'war' modifier in the AI files to 100 for all major countries, so they're just itching for a fight.

Short and to the point

Add New zealand and Australia to the American/ Japanese alliance? Wouldnt i be better having them in the allies so i could still keep in the pacific war[not just india] also.....with America and Japan combined in the pacific ...New zealand and Australias chances dont look to good anyway--also dont they come in Handy [I C wise] for Japan?

My idea is still a little rough as im not entirely sure as to how i will get japan and America into the conflict..will japans events still trigger ]minus pearl harbour] thus declaring war on the allies and bringing USA into it on Her side?



I dont fancy My chances as the Uk , especially since i have never made itpast `39 with the uk! As for France`s chances.......

The Allies are going to need help. The US and Japan should be able to make short work of the Royal Navy and the outdated French fleet. France is going to get mauled by the German/Soviet alliance, the UK by the US, and the colonial empire by both Japan and the US. The Pacific Alliance won't be able to take the Continental Alliance on land, and the Continentals won't be able to tough the Pacific at sea, so each will go after the Allies, who can't possibly hold off either alliance at what they do best.

This is 1 vs. 1 vs. 1, right?

Maybe you can at least give the Allies Italy, China, Poland, and Latin America. That won't exactly help much, but they'll need every other nation in the game to even dream of surviving.

EDIT: With you at the Allies' helm, you have a chance at holding off the Pacific Alliance, but having to guard against them will make it impossible to overcome the Continentals, and the AI won't be able to make any real headway against itself. Better install the no-time patch, you'll probably need it.

The problem with adding countries to allies will be:
If it's a eurasian country -> they get annexed by axis
If it's a south american or even african country -> US will invade (I've seen the AI do this in large force)

Also if you make US fascist, that's really going to get tough, since they won't get a peacetime modifier for their IC. That's 400 IC in 1936... nice

Im really in for hell arent i? I have it set up waiting to be played..but im scared

I will probably lose a hell of a lot of land before i gain any....also once italy then eastern european countries join the axis....ARGH!!!
The main problem is going to be the soviets and Germany..their output combined and technological might will be Huge and will make even reclaiming France [probably] extremely difficult.



But..who doesnt like a challenge right?

I have already loaded as USSR and turned them National Socialist.
USA is now Fascist and allied with japan
Soviets allied with Germany.

Its pretty much ready to be played.

Allied war aims are definently
*Try and surivive
*Any offensives/annexations anywhere will be a nice bonus
*Try and survive for the love of god try and surv.....

My strategy alone is giving me problems....in 39 once poland is crushed thats it the huge war will break out...i will be versing so much with so little in so many fronts when i have never really went the uk!
I iwll probably be as effective as a one legged man in an ass-kicking contest....but i shall never quit!
