Okinawa - the world's melting pot!

Im the US and have Okinawa and that other little island next to it as am American colony. Maybe its the tropical life or maybe its the Geisha girls, but immigrants are flocking to both of these islands like there is no tommorrow. The immigrants are from both Europe and Asia.. Finns, Germans, Hungarians, Malay's, various Slavs, Russian, African, Indians, Middle Eastern, etc etc...

The Immigration rate for both Islands is over 5%. Its pretty funny. I almost cant expand the RGOs enough to keep up the population growth...

If you notice, your imigration to the US itself well be alot down, as they prefer Okinawa. Its actually a bad step to colonise Okinawa as the USA

Immigration to the USA is based on the nearest province to the emigrating country. If you colonize Okinawa, or get a territory in North Africa or in the Carib, all the immigrants will go there instead. Then they only immigrate to the USA if there are no jobs on the closer province.

I usually colonize Okin/Anami at the start of the game. It frees up your USA farmers to work in the factories
