No Ainu?
In 1861 and 1881 there are no Ainu in Hokkaido and South Sakhalin in game. But in fact, the Japanese in South Sakhalin in 1881 was Ainu, and the North Hokkaido was not part of Japan until 1870. Of course, in that time all Hokkaido has few Japanese but more Ainu.
And, Okinawa and Amami are not Japanese but Ryukyuan. It seem to replace North Min as Ryukyuan better than Japanese. They are more similar than Japanese and Ryukyuan. |

Aetius, could you estimate the population of Japanese in Amami and Okinawa after Kagoshima invading Ryukyu?
