Read the whole AAR and the situation is definately very interesting. One thing just keeps bothering me and it is your decision to build a considerable fleet of submarines. While theoretically they should be powerful, but with your doctrines I think they might end up being quite expensive scrap metal.

The 28th
We have Landed in Italy and now the real war begins. More British lives will be lost and this front more than any must be won. If we are defeated here we will lose many men and any advantage we had. Again this awful war has taken another turn and it is baffling how we all managed to get into this situation.

Operation Buffalo and all her Stages

That was very few armies in Italy. You should have created a good front in no time and if you're lucky you could almost reatch Po before you can't advance without reinforcments.
I Was thinking more of African ones, have you never seen them crossing water in nature documentaries trying to avoid crocs?

I agree completely, you have summed up my plan well, im very glad i was able to land where i wanted too. Im going to go south and mop up [also get a large port for the fleet who have recieved minimal resistance i should say] then create a nice line aand advance north hopefully capturing all of Italy. If this is achieved Germany should have a real headache on their hands with my growing landing in Germany herself and then Italy, French , Yugoslavian and Polish fronts to deal with. If things go well [theres that sentence again] i will try and aid Yugoslavia [by that time i should have more menr eady for transport] also if i can secure the French-Italian border i simply have to march troops through France into Italy including a General who is already in France right now [although i was to ship him to the landing in Germany].
Too Large a Bite?
Germany is feeling the pressure that is certain. However so are we. Our forces are now stretched to the maximum and we cannot sustain any more fronts while [ most likely] being unable to finish of Germany with our current armed fores. We have continued to advance into Germany and while we lost a division to enemy Air bombardment, we have managed to transport three Motorized divisions to the front.
It should be noted that Aachen,Erfurt and Magdeburg are now under British control
Our war effort has been dealt two critical blows in the past week:
1. The Annexation of our valued allies Poland. They held off against overwhelming odds much longer than anyone expected, even managing to make advancements into enemy territory. Their defeat must fuel our cause in the Knowledge that we will revive Poland from her defeat and liberate her people from Communist oppression.
2. Germany reacted to our invasion of Italy fiercely redeploying large numbers of divisions to the south of Italy in an attempt to contain our landinf force. Reinforcements are needed but are unavailable. We have advanced and been repelled and this trend has repeated over the days. Also we are unable to capture the Southern Island provinces of Italy although, with altered strategies we remain confident that they can and will be taken. The only problem with it is if our other two armies can hold off the German Infantry and Panzer divisions long enough for this to be accomplished.
A Sad Day- Poland is Defeated
Interestingly due to the fact that Germany has decided that our Italian invasion must be sent back into the ocean at all costs they have weakened their lines somewhat on all other fronts. This has been apparent mostly on the Yugoslavian front where the German Wehrmacht has withdrawn COMPLETELY allowing Yugoslavia to reclaim the entire sum of her northern provinces. As of the moment this report is being written our Yugoslavian allies are marching into undefended Austria- we wish them luck.

Canada is being pushed back now and all her Momentum has been lost as the Americans surge into Canada. We cannot assist them instead being forced to watch our allies be invaded.

those bombers sure are getting to you..maybe you need more interceptors there..maybe yugoslavia will be able to save you..
I still think that the US was the major enemy! But enough of the what ifs!

. Almost every AAR has Canada being conquered or surrendering, im tired of watching the greatest country in the world fall !
Im quite happy with my rate of advance through Germany, more reinforcements and things should hopefully remain in our favour.
I have RAF fighters being made as we speak, the majority will be shipped to Germany although eventually i will send some to the Italian front aswell.
I considered invading the U.S early but...didnt. I agree with you completely, if i cant take Italy but manage to inflict losses then i have helped myself. Thanks for reading
A Grim Fate
The death toll continues to rise, hundreds turn to thousands and before you know it entire divisions are gone. Thousands of young men will never come home...broken families and if the enemy bombers have their way broken homes aswell. Soon the numbers..the names...they blur and it all just becomes a numbers game and that is what this war has inflicted on our humanity.
We begin to lose it.
This is only the beginning, this war is in its Infancy and already it has touched all corners of the globe. Its like creeping death and nobody seems willing to let it all end. Thats what keeps me awake at night, not the deaths not the economic issues...but the end. When will this end? When will this hellish situation we have gotten ourselves into finaly come to its end...and what will be left of not only our planet......but her people aswell.
The Evolution of Naval Warfare
The USS Saratoga
Our first submarine fleet is completed and has been launched and is already showing promise- in our first engagement the USS Saratoga was sunk and thus the USA Naval forces have one less aircraft carrier to attack with.

The Two Fronts
As can be seen in the above Photos our lines are thin on both fronts and reinforcements are needed. Once reinforcements are available they will be sent as is shown by the recent arrival of three motorized divisions in northern Germany. We still hope that the Germans will decide to declare war on Belgium and Holland- we have excellent relations with both countries and we feel they would join the Allies immediatly should Germany threaten them. Perhaps Germany will go ahead with this declaration of war as Soviet troops are now in Germany [and have been repelled by our own] after the fall of Poland so perhaps Germany, with new found confidence will attempt to bypass Frances Impressive Maginot Line by going through the low countries. We accept this may be ambitious on their part but we hope they make the attempt, if they do not we may have a war reminiscent of WWI- Huge casualties and very little ground gained if any.
On the Italian front we are having trouble defeating the Garrison in Palermo while simultaneously holding off the ever increasing in number German infantry and panzer divisions. We do remain confident that we can still advance however it may not be at the speed we had hoped.
