And even has Hoover's support


But not everyone feels so happy about the situation:


It seems the country is falling apart at the seams




Garner is inagurated


But the troubles continue:


It looks like violence is about to erupt:


And Huey Long, a powerful man from Louisiana starts to take action:

February 29, 1937, the day when The Secound American Civil War began, and the union was ruptured.

And Reed heads the Combined Syndicates of America

As the United States breaks out into all out war this happens:


AUS and CSA soldify their goverments




Canada seizes Alaska and New England. The American mentality is "better them than the Reds". Except for the Reds.





AUS and CSA seize control of some additional territory:

Frank Merriam, the former Californian governor, and now leader of The Pacific States of America was seated at a table with his advisors. He stood and spoke:

“Gentlemen, as you are aware, we are now the most powerful Democratic Government in the Americas, and nearly of the whole world. However, our situation is a precarious one, and we cannot expect foreign aid. Our relations with Japan, Democratic though they may be, are strained at best and they are wholly concerned with their ambitions of Imperialism. It is possible that they may find us, or the recently independent Hawaiians a target. If they do, they will find us tougher than they expect. It now falls on us to preserve Democracy. In fact, word has come in that France and Britian are publicly supporting the Syndicists, and we can expect millitary aid to be sent as well.”

"Firstly, no matter what this nation will remain as a Democracy"



"As you know, several days ago we have formally declared war on the United States, at the same time that they decided to attack us. However we are not at war with the AUS or the CSA"



“Out second order of business is organizing the armed forces. We have started to call up The Guard, and organize our Navy and Airforce”











"We have our best and brightest already working to give us an edge over our enemies"



"We have established diplomatic relations with Hawaii, and with New England"






"Fighting has already occurred, with our bombers harassing a division of U.S infantry."



"We have very few natural resources of our own, and areas with these are very important to our cause."



"Already, our forces have started to advance on the U.S"



"America is being pushed back in the East as well, if our sources are to be believed"

Even the war doesn't stop the finishing of the Golden Gate Bridge


The PSA also starts to optimize its industry towards war.


New divisions are called up:


And the entire front advances in the relative absence of American troops


Helped by regional PSA air support




The AUS make advances against the CSA, taking their capital.


But, they are encircled


PSA troops advancing on the new U.S capital of Denver are thrown back. Apparently the USA is prepared to defend their Government this time


So the Pacific troops start to form a pincer to attack from multiple directions




But the USA has some fight left in it


But not enough


Dallas is capture, splitting Texas between the PSA and AUS


The battle for Denver is fought on the land



And in the air


Frank Merriam is accused of taking funds needed for the war effort. He stays in office only because of the war.


The last of the soldiers still loyal the USA are defeated in The Battle of Smokey Hill.





The situation looks like this:


The PSA is at peace, for now, while the CSA starts to drive out the AUS.

And a very good boon for the Pacific Nation's future:

Sometimes Mexico declares war on the PSA, which I'm hoping for. My industrial base isn't really all that big, and I could use some more IC and some war time economy.
