Bought Mount&Blade collection on Steam, but cant register it here on forums. It writes "invalid key". But on Steam everything is well.
Why it is happens?

It's a known problem and as it stands now it will not be solved. The forums are open to everyone because of this. If you want icons you have to buy through GamersGate. Their codes work.

I don't know if people will read it, after all there ARE several threads about the topic on the first forum page and still people ask about this issue. But maybe some sticky with a name like "Steam keys will NOT give you forum icons - read here why" or something like that will at least reduce the number of people asking about it.
