Earl "Emperor" Walter left me a note from his mummy on my desk. According to this note he is urgently needed back home. Appearently there are potatoes that needs planting, cow manure that needs spreading back in Idaho and she is also worried about Walter learning foul mouthed words in the army. I'm flabbergasted, this would never have happened in the RAF.
Luckily the USMC recruitment drive for new pilots have succeeded above expectations and although this theater of war is a bit distant we have been assigned one of the new pilots. Men, welcome 2nd Lt Abe O'Key, who will pilot Walter's Douglas TBD Devestator from now on.
