Mexico has had a pretty good twenty-five years. It's risen to Great Power status and defeated the USA in several wars. What state are we in now? This at the new Year, so before the civil war.
(1) - My RP has boomed since 1836, it is now at over 16, which means I can research Level Two techs in a little more than eighteen months.
(2) - My militancy is very, very low, but I still have rebels organising.
(3) - I have a pretty substantial army ready to beat the stuffing out of America. We'll see if they do the business soon
Next, diplomacy:
(1) I'm allied with the UK!
Not much else to say, except Dai Nam has entered my sphere and I'm currently trying to get Belguim in as well (Haiti and Hawaii are in the US's sphere and they just keep knocking me down).
Now, the rankings.
My prestige and military have just managed to contain Bavaria's massive industry so far. OTOH, my prestige is holding me back from overtaking Russia.
(1) - Nearly three and a half million people live in our fair land, nearly double what we had at the start of the game.
(2) - Craftsmen are less than 3% of our population, while farmers and labourers are first with 61% and second with 21% respectively. More.. industry...
(3) The amount of parties is ridicolous. What do you need six for?
(1) - That descision needs 4 militancy, but if things ever get that bad, I want State Capitalism!
(2) The Conservatives have collapsed from the heady days when they had over fifty percent, and the Liberals have lost ground too. The reactionaries are a little far behind though
(3) The oh-so-scary rebels.
Uh....... I think I'll skip this.
(1) My seven most profitable factories all come from just three states: Mexico, Yucatan and Nevada-Utah (which unfortunately is on the border). And no, that wasn't deliberate.
(2) My winery in Mexico tops the output, profit and employment charts. Pretty cool, huh?
(3) Canned Food
sucks.
More detailed production statistics:
Wine is unsuprisingly my biggest export, followed by gold and clothes. But I have to import lots of tea, fruit and grain, which goes under that 42% tariff. Minister of War on standby. Atjeh looks juicy.....
