We did not fight a revolution against one tyrant just to bow before a new one even if he is in our own party. The ideals of the revolution must be upheld and if that means civil war, than I say let it come and let the final battles to restore freedom to the worker happen.

Under the guidance of Marx that ideals are becoming a reality. Moreover, we are expanding the Revolution to our brothers outside the frontier! And what are you doing? Slaughter your fellow comrades. That's your way to upheld the ideals of the Revolution? Doing the dirty job for your masters in Vienna, Berlin and Paris?

Which ideals? A small pension and free visits to the doctors? I belive socialism is more than that!

The Marxists tried to bribe the common people so that they don't see what really is happening: All power is concentrated on the Marxists, and the people aren't allowed to complain.

Fight for freedom, brothers!

Enslaved? They are no more of a slave than any other worker. Under the rule of Marx, the worker has gained great social security that means no man will suffer needlessly.

I am afraid you have already been brainwashed comrade. Did Marx send you to one of his special "schools"?

Have you seen "any other worker"? They are on their knees, kissing the boots of the government while working constantly. True, the workers of our nation are better off than most others, but how much does that really mean when the differences are minor at best?

Marx is nothing more than another bourgeouis tyrant; you petty Marxist lapdogs may deny it, but it's true.

Call them what you want, but the Marxists are holding this Republic together. Excuse us for not allowing mindless chaos to overcome the country. I think dear "Comrade" Kadon needs a bomb or two tossed at him, to right this whole mess.

Kadon, I think this "comrade" is asking for a duel. I think you should accept. I will sell tickets through the Zeal

The anarchists are getting increasingly psychotic. I was inclined to voting for the United Cooperationists in the next elections, but seeing how the anarchists act, I'm getting more and more inclined to vote for the Marxist/Centralist block to take a stand against the anarchists. If they decide to respect our democracy and agitate peacefully and with rational, truthful arguments rather than lies, hate-speech and slander, my votes goes to Engels' camp. If not, the only choice for the Party is to restore peace within the republic through forceful means.

If there is to be a duel, I accept. This menace will be ended by my hand, and the Republic saved from being torn apart.

Kadon is a great leader, but you do not know the Young Anarchists. He is not the only pillar on which we stand. I look forward to the duel. If Kadon falls, we will gain a rally cry! If he succeeds as I expect, we will have one less dog to trample!

How can there be a duel if one of the participants is in prison? I'm pretty sure the term you are searching for is "shanking."

Nice debate going on here. I'm especially enjoying looking at Ricainfier's rallying of the Young Anarchists.

Remember that in this election those Anarchists who have not jumped ship to join the United Cooperationalists (the majority) have stayed with the Anarchist faction which is presenting a united front under the reasonably moderate Bakunin. Although the Young Anarchists are a big part of that faction, and at the moment a major guideing force, they are not the only part of the Anarchist faction. There are those who merely want to deal with Blanqui and reduce the power of the state and those who want to hang the Marxist cabinet and destroy the state altogether.

Anyway what I really wanted to post about was the Workers' Vote. I've just finished the numbers which turned out rather different form those I showed you back in the heady days of 1860. Remember that the Republic has added millions of new proletarians since then to vote.

What I want to ask is when do you guys think I should release the figures? Should I wait until the polls close for voting (thus stopping people from being influenced in their votes by the outcome of the Workers' Vote)? Should I give them to you alongside the election update? Or should I give them a couple of days into the election?

Interesting times Comrades, interesting times.

I think it's best you do it after. Unfortunately it won't stop people from vote-jumping but the less outside influence the better.

I say, release the workers' votes following the party election -- and allow no vote changes!
