GRAND EUROPE - smalltalk and others
Hi, folks! Thought it would be strange if our discussion thread should be named "New multiplayer game starting this autumn" forever. Since it is impossible to change name of a thread (ARGGHHHH!!!
) I therfore decided to create a new. Hope it it fine with you!Links to our other threads (only members of our game may post in these): -Our declaration thread (GRAND EUROPE - treaties and official declarations) -Our NEW declaration thread (GRAND EUROPE - treaties and official declarations) -Our poll thread (GRAND EUROPE - vote)

Well - we are supposed to have three: this, "GRAND EUROPE - vote" AND "GRAND EUROPE - threaties and official declarations". The first one - "New multiplayer game starting this autumn" - will no longer be used.

Hello, gak!
I just wondered how you are going to deal with the "pause matter" when six-eight players are playing at the same time. (Earlier you stated you just will allow us to pause when it`s absolutely neccessary. Probably it will be "absolutely neccessary" very often.) One or a few players will at all times fight wars, and then it`s usually neccessary to pause at least six-seven times a year (maybe each month). So I expect we must be patient with each other ... I`ll declare war as early as the 1st of March 1419, and expect others to do the same. Hope you`ll accept a lot of pausing from me the first years, and I`ll try to avoid it in the future ...

So - you don`t allow us to use the good old thread anymore? I don`t like it! (just kidding)
If you still want to recruit more players, I think you should announce this clearer ... I`ve registrated you still don`t have found a suiting time we can play every week ... Continue the good work, and let`s get started soon Thanks!

The Grand Duchy of Lithuania invites Austria to their military alliance with Poland
Announcement to the Austrian government:
The Grand Duchy of Lithuania offer you to join their military alliance before or after their forthcoming victorious war. The alliance will be free and easy, Austria can fight their wars alone if they want, and the Grand Duchy reserve themselves the right to do the same. The alliance will first and foremost be a defence pact, to prevent prospective unwanted destructive wars against strong countries or alliances. Austria will off course, if they are forced to defend Lithuanian territory from invasion, receive war indemnity in form of ducates, soldiers or province(s). The same deal will of course be in force if Austria should be invaded. (More detailed conditions can be discussed later). The Lithuanian government will demand to stay as leader of the alliance, and is underlining that Poland is a permanent member, whose membership not are able for discussion. Grand Duke Vytautas also want Bohemia to join when they change their state religion to protestant. If Poland does not agree, he has, however, promised not to be difficult. The deal will off course be discussed further by the Lithuanians in the forthcoming days, and they will be happy to hear Austria`s views soon.

Well - I thought we should ally, Gottwaldus!
To prevent the horrible swines of Russia and Denmark from conquering us.... With regard to recruiting new players, I think we will need 3-5 more to ensure a interesting and healthy game. But to avoid inability to find a time that suits all (it is difficult as it is...) I will delay this to after we have found a suitable time.

I have registrated your interest in joining the Lithuanian-Polish alliance. I will probably accept if Austria refuse to join, but if she accepts, I think Austria should decide ...
3-5 more players sounds great! I just hope marcosortega have good enough internet connection. If not, you should start searching for a better host ...

Sikakoira and gak; Yes, I know the alliance proposal should be posted in the "declaration" thread. I have in fact done that too. If you check the mentioned thread, you can see yourselves.
I have namely observed that most players don`t visit the declarations thread very often, and decided therefore to post it in both threads ... Hope that`s okay with you?

Grand Duke Vytautas are happy with Austria`s reply, but have no intention to accept Austria as the leader of the alliance. He refer to the deal conditions sketched in his letter, and underline that the countries will participate at equal conditions in the alliance. Austria will receive the indemnity and the provinces they have claims to recive in peace negotiations etc.

Actually, cancel that. I just read your "vote" topic and I don't believe in all that editing. I'm looking for a more serious game where no cheats of any kind are used. Sorry for the confusion.
