Vive La France
Dublin, Ireland--Present Day
Setting: Ms. McGivern's 5th grade history class McGivern: "Alright Class, let's take out our history books and turn to page 100. Today we'll be learning about France's glorious victory over the English in the Napoleonic wars, and how Ireland was finally granted it's independance." Class: "YAY!" young Sytass : "Will we learn about America?"McGivern: "Of Course. They were a trusted ally then and still are. We have to be wary of British aggression. Your parents probably remember the war of 1974 when England invaded soverign Puritan lands and conquered Scotland." McGivern: "Alright everyone, here we go!" Update later today. I'll plan on involving people in the forums in my AAR. What do you think?

Um...I think I've never been guest star of an AAR before (if it's me, as I am Sytass, not Systass). Either way, I feel honoured.

*pulls ink refill out of pen, tears off a small piece of paper, crupples it into a little ball, puts it in mouth to make sure it's good and wet, brings now-hollow pen to mouth, aims at Sytass*

I added frames to my maps via Paint Shop Pro - adding a white border, filling it with wood texture and then making a "button in" and a "button out" effect for the inner and outer edge.

Children, here's what Europe looked like before the war broke out. At the time, France was ruled by a "directory". They had overthrown their horrible king. Here, as you can see, Our brave troops under Hoche fight these English lackey Italians. Of course, we are victorious. ![]() Our navy boys get ready to fight the upcoming battles against the English dogs. ![]() McGivern: "Hmm. It's almost time to go." Class: "Awww!!!" McGivern: "But before you leave, here's when Savoy was humiliated." ![]() Idiotboy: "But what about Irish independance?" McGivern: "Just wait and see..."

Class resumes.
McGivern: "Today class, we will learn about France's glorious invasion of England!" The whole class erupts in cheers. We see our armies boarding our grand fleet. Side note: The people of France scrapped together this fleet from all over the empire. Private vessels, rowboats, anything that could float took part. French troops under Kellerman storm into Kent and advance on London..English forces fall back in panic. Cheers erupt from all over France as news of London's fall is heard! Le Grand Flotilla moves to defeat the last remaining British fleet. Hero of the Battle of London

Ms. McGivern.... did the French succeed in liberating Scotland from their English overlords and bring the revolution to all the Gaelic peoples?

Will a Monarchist Revolution succeed?
If not, how disgusting...
