Nukes for Nepal - An AAR

Along the same lines as my previous AAR, this will be a single-minded, all-out effort to build the bomb.

An update will follow shortly.

1936 begins for Nepal at the same time as for everyone else.

The army consists of two infantry divisions, one of which is an irregular milita, and is promptly disbanded.

All available resources are put into building a second division.

On 10 January, a war is declared against Tibet. The 1st Corps, under Lt. General Potter moves swiftly northward towards Lhasa. By 1 March, Lhasa is ours, and Tibet is swiftly annexed to Greater Nepal.

On 9 November, the UK gives us the first step in our quest for atomic power, the ability to artificially create radioactivity.

1937 is much less interesting than 1936.

The 2nd Infantry is completed, and deployed also to Lhasa, to make sure the Tibetans behave.

On 10 August, Japan declares war on Communist China. Finding that they have no means of invading Communist China, they declare war on Nationalist China on 19 August.

We also managed to get the second level in the nuclear tree from the UK: Experimental Proof of the Equivalence of Mass and Energy.

I'm interested in who you're going to Nuke once you get it! However you'll require a plane or missile if you want to use it.

Whoa... who said anything about nuking anyone? Why would the peace-loving people of Greater Nepal ever nuke anyone?

Especially not Russia...

I might make an epic miniseries out of this.

1938 was a banner year in Nepalese growth.

The 1st and 2nd Infantry divisions were sent to aid the Chinese in their struggle with Japan. Hopefully, our leaders will gain valuable military experience.

We also managed to get our hands on two more levels on the nuclear tree. Laboratory produced Fission and the Chain Reaction Process. We now have 4 levels of the 8 required.

Things are looking good for China. They have managed to slow down the Japanese advance, and appear to be making northward progress.

Thanks, all, for your comments and support.

This really is fun, trying to do the 'less-than-easily-possible.'

1939 turned out to be a little interesting.

The 1st and 2nd Infantry divisions gained quite a lot of experience from their service in China. The Chinese managed to push the Japanese invaders back north for some distance.

On 28 August, Britain declared that Poland's independence was paramount, and when Germany invaded on 1 September, the Allies went to war. Belgium and the Netherlands quickly joined the Grand Alliance, while Germany and Czechoslovakia were joined by Bulgaria, Hungary, Yugoslavia and Italy.

On 2 December, the Nepalese Expeditionary Force returned to Nepal, to await potential deployment overseas. Many Nepalese are puzzled by this term "overseas."

But Sinkiang and Afghanistan are left alive this time? And reason to your reasoning? No need for dissent?

Give him time. By the time 1958 rolls around Nepal will be preparing to use their adv spear tech on an invasion of the US, the last stronghold still standing against the Nepalese onslaught

(follow up-1959 the US falls)

Oh, this is classic. Steele's Challenge #2. I'm interested to see if you find this harder than Battleships for Bhutan.
