DAU own all of french lands except BRI lands

I think its an event , due to the amount of money I got....it like a French victory in HYW...........all french lands owned by England is surrendered

DAU own all of french lands except BRI lands

Really? How did then ENG cede french provinces to DAU if they already own all french lands?
Or do you mean that AFTER the peace deal DAU owns all those lands?

Events don´t influence the results of peace deals. Again: Savegame? Have you yet uploaded it somewhere so that others can take a look?

my error, my previous post should read, DAU has a core on all french lands except BRI territory. - This was what you asked.

...

Edit: In the 1419 scenario ENG should not have a national but only a claimcore on Paris and on Normandy.
Normandy because it was lost long ago and the loss acknowledged by treaty - only since 1415 was Normandy again occupied

Is there a way to make Normandy at the start of the 1419 scenario to be controlled by ENG "since 1415"?

i use event HYW FRA 170285 to cede Normandy to ENG as i figure that normandy has been calm for over 4 years, and also the towns conceded that the English king was their soverign

i think I found the issue with the ENG collapse although I still need one of u guys to confirm the sequence

#(1423-1820) The End of the Hundred Years War
#move capital to Paris
event = {
id = 170298
trigger = {
owned = { province = 385 data = -1 } #Ile de France
control = { province = 385 data = -1 } #Ile de France
atwar = no
NOT = { exists = DAU }
}
random = no
country = FRA
name = "EVENTNAME170298" #The King of France Returns to Paris
desc = "EVENTHIST170298"
#-#Driven out of Paris by Burgundian insurrections and then harrassed by the English, the King of France finally returned to his capital.

date = { day = 0 month = january year = 1423 }
offset = 60
deathdate = { year = 1820 }

action_a = {
name = "ACTIONNAME170298A" #It is high time we returned to our great city
command = { type = stability value = 2 }
command = { type = domestic which = centralization value = 1 }
command = { type = capital which = 385 } #Ile de France
command = { type = clrflag which = [Brussels] } #just in case
command = { type = vp value = 50 }
}
}

now this event starts out as part of OLD FRA , when old FRA get annexed the situation is fine, when DAu becomes New FRA , these events reactivate and when this event fires , the HYW war ends and Rngland collapse. I just need you guys to confirm.
My test was cahnging the start date to 1453 ( the real end of tthe HYW ) and the English collapse never happened ( 4 games tested )

Your post appears twice. Could you delete one of them?

This event can´t be for the 1419 FRA as in that time DAU exists and 1419 FRA already has it´s capital in Paris which means the trigger would prevent it from firing.
So the event can only be meant for the new France that is created when DAU turns into FRAnce later.

And it can´t be the reason of the problem you described that ENG cedes *a lot* of provinces to DAU in a peace deal, because this is an event for FRA and not for DAU.

Yes: in the scenario file where it defines Normandy as controlled by ENG, add a date.

In that file?
1419_ENG_England.inc

Normandy is 413 but how would a date be added there?

Edit:
Another change to the file
1419_Provinces_Misc.inc
Normandy lost 3/4 of it´s population in the HYW according to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normandy#13th_to_17th_Century
so I suggest to have it start "looted" in the 1419 scenario:

Code:
#AGCEEP - The Grand Campaign - 1419

#-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#Provinces: miscellaneous

province = { id = 671 nationalism = { year = 1440 month = january day = 1 } } #Chin

province = { id = 662 province_revoltrisk = 800 } #Hanoi
province = { id = 663 province_revoltrisk = 800 } #Tanh Noah
province = { id = 1554 province_revoltrisk = 800 } #Lao Cai

#Looted provinces
province = { id = 365 date = { day = 0 month = january year = 1420 } looted = yes } #Dalmatia
province = { id = 368 date = { day = 0 month = january year = 1420 } looted = yes } #Istria
[color=yellow]province = { id = 413 date = { day = 0 month = january year = 1420 } looted = yes } #Normandy
province = { id = 413 control = { day = 22 month = september year = 1415 } } #Normandy occupied since 1415 after siege of Harfleur[/color]
#-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I simply copied and pasted the entry for Istria for Normandy. However I have no idea why the year in that entry is 1420 and not 1419...?
The entry seems to work. Normandy is "looted" when I start a 1419 grand campaign and population growth is -22% ^^

IIRC , yoda said it was the year the war ended, 1418 -1420. the normandy was 1415 -1419

Sorry, let me try again. It works the same way as defining looted provinces, as you can see in a saved game.

Code:
province = {
	id = ...
	control = { day = 8 month = august year = 1570 }
	ownerchange = { day = 8 month = august year = 1570 }
	#...
}

Is it correct to add those lines to the file
1419_Provinces_Misc.inc
or would some other file be more approbiate?

I tried simply to add the line to that file and it works. Normandy is controlled since September 1415 ^^

I suggest you replace the core trigger with both core_claim and core_national with to make sure this event fires.
For core removal, removecore_national alone suffices.

You´re a bit late to answer on my post which was from Octobre and has already been submitted for 3 months...
http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum...-POSTING!)&p=13026780&viewfull=1#post13026780

However your suggestion is quite right. When Garbon includes my submission that ENG starts the HYW only with claimcores and gains only claimcores on french provinces (except in the final victory event) then ENG might have either claimcores or nationalcores on the province, depending if they held the province for the required timr to change the coretype.

I've looked at the event files, but still can't figure out exactly what I need to do and by when to get the "English Final Victory" event to fire - is there a guide to this somewhere? Thanks!

Okay thanks - so you have to win before Dauphin converts to France, so there's not too much time...

IIRC time is up in october 1422

The event for Dauphine "Collapse of the Kingdom of Bourges" can trigger between 1425 and 1461 and this event triggers the english "Final Victory" event.

So time is not up in 1422 but starts first to count in 1425...
