What about Jack Churchill? He'd be a great Ironside.

Churchill and his team were tasked with capturing a German fortification creatively called "Point 622." Churchill took the lead, charging ahead of the group into the dark through the barbed wire and mines, pitching grenades as he went. Although his unit did their best to catch up, all but six of them were lost to silly things like death. Of those six, half were wounded and all any of them had left were pistols. Then a mortar shell swung in and killed/mortally wounded everyone who wasn't Jack Churchill.

When the Germans found him, he was playing "Will Ye No Come Back Again?" on his bagpipes. Oh, we didn't mention that? He carried them right next to his big fucking sword.

After being sent to a concentration camp, he got bored and left. Just walked out. They caught him again, and sent him to a new camp. So he left again. After walking 150 miles with only a rusty can of onions for food, he was picked up by the Americans and sent back to Britain, where he demanded to be sent back into the field, only to find out (with great disappointment) the war had ended while he was on his way there. As he later said to his friends, "If it wasn't for those damn Yanks, we could have kept the war going another 10 years!"
And I thought my characters were bad-ass. You can't make this stuff up

The map is nicely made, but also very wrong (You added 1 nation which is not a member yet and excluded 9 members). And united states of Europe, ya right. That name would really sux, since it would make the EU just a cheap rip of we know who. EU is a good name for it.

Audie Murphy from that site is much better. MUCH better. Not saying that Churchill wasn't badass too.

The site is really interesting, but way too americanized. That Finn killed 700 people and makes it only to place 5 + survived an exploding bullet into his head? None of those guys didn't make it halfway, but it seems they all qualify because they were either UK or US citizens (3#UK, 2#US, 1#US). In other categories you can find similar occurrences.

In comparison, you dont find even one German or Russian (And we all know if somone was badass, those guys were). Other chategoires are included here.

Yeah, he does have a point Muffin. But, I'm hitting the hay now, me and Laurence have some work to do in the academy tomorrow. Cheers

not until I saw that map did I realize how much Scandinavia looks like a penis. Finland is the nuts!

Ahem, sorry. Pray continue with your AAR.

You only just noticed now? It's even more exagerrated on a Euro coin. Since Norway isn't in it's Finland-Nuts Sweden-Phallus.

Being a "Yank" I have been too busy giggling over Florida pissing on Cuba to note European phallo-states until just now.
