Missing the REAL 'sea wolf' and other u-boat aces

Forgive me if I'm posting to the wrong forum,
but I've been playing 1.06 (as well as CORE) for awhile now,
and I've noticed one glaring problem with the leaders of the german Kriesgsmarine - it's missing the real 'sea wolves'.

Doenitz is the 'best' sea wolf, even though he hardly spent much time at sea or in combat, yet the best u-boat 'aces' are totally absent - why?

Below is a simple list of over a dozen u-boat aces, ranked by ships sunk and tonnage of ships sunk.

Would be nice to update the leader mods and graphics to include a few of these arguably historical military figures.

I believe individual ship captains aren't in the game unless they became admiral during the war because this is a strategic game, not tactical.

Unless we are talking about a minor country with few or no admirals... in wich case, everyone capable of handling a sail boat is qualified to become Lv1 Rear Admiral in HoI...
