One issue many have when feudalising is the fact that you have only one tribal holding in each province which represents the entire population of that province. This however gets transformed into one castle (or even one city) when that provinces becomes feudal or urban. Currently there is no mechanism for having more than one tribal holding in each province.

I have an alternative suggestion. You should be allowed turn the other holdings in each province into other tribal holdings. However, that will not increase the amount of wealth or men produced in that province, rather the wealth and the levies get divided in two. So for instances, where one tribal holding produced 1.5 gold a year and 500 men, if you create another tribal holding in the same province, they will both produce .75 gold each and 250 men, reflecting the fact that the population hasn't changed, just the holding has been partitioned.

There are two options I can consider as to how the system should be implimented.

1. At the player's instigation. He can give these secondary tribal holdings to fellow dynasts (but to no one else) thus boosting prestige and placating family members. However, he should be weary because it gives that dynasty a county cb. If cadet branches are ever implimented, it could also be a way of hiving off other dynasties.

2. Through elective gavelkind. Every time a tribal dynast dies all his demesne-held tribal holdings will be divided in two and given to secondary claimants if there are no superior titles available.

The upshot of which is that when it comes to feudalisation, Tribals will have the option of upgrading more holdings, though not being any stronger as a result.

Honestly, retrieving gold when you are tribal is so hard that is quite unlikely you are going to gather enough of it to build more than a few holdings in your game.
When your ruler is wealthy enough to build another tribal holding, you will probably have enough vassals under your rule to null the advantage of having one more "barony" in your demesne.

While your idea is reasonable, I feel it would be an useless implementation. Very likely, you will have gone feudal way before you will be able to build one more holding.

How about, instead, tribal holdings that have certain high level building requirements spawn extra holdings (up to a total of three, one of each type, including the capitol)?
So, if you meet the requirements for Adopt Feudalism *and* Adopt Republicanism, you'll get both a Barony and a City, and the decision you choose determines which is your capitol?

Obviously an upgrade path should be available for Temples as well, so that a bishopric is spawned.
This will cause issues where there are only two holding slots in the county, but that isn't an insurmountable problem.

Oh god please. I want to build markets in all my tribal holdings but I dont because theyd go to waste.

Yeh, a theocracy DLC would be nice.
