Beyond the Pamirs

A vanilla map-based HIP submod

The aims of this mod:
- To add provinces to the Tarim and Turpan basins on the vanilla map.
- To explore the possibility of adding provinces to other currently unrepresented regions of the vanilla map, eg. Tibet.
- To have title history for all playable start-dates.
- To interfere with vanilla history and provinces as little as possible.
- To cooperate closely with the VIET team.
- To conform to the high standards of consistency and reliability that the HIP project upholds.

Installation Instructions:
1. Install HIP as you would normally; DON'T activate SWMH, and DO activate VIET.
2. Extract the mod folder and .mod file from the archive into the CK2 mods folder, where the HIP (and other) mods are contained.
3. In the CK2 launcher, activate both Beyond the Pamirs and HIP.

Credits:
- The VIET team; for allowing me to use their (mostly cultural) assets in this mod.
- The Silk Road mod; for laying much of the groundwork in terms of research.

FAQ:
Q: When will this be released?
A: I don't know. The first version to be released will contain both the completed Tarim and Turpan basins, which shouldn't be too far off.

Q: With SWMH' eastern expansion coming out soon, what is the point of this?
A: As awful as the vanilla map is, some of us do still like to have India there. Besides, I've been wanting to do the Tarim basin for a long time now.

Yar har har!

I do have a small suggestion - the province shapes look kinda weird to me... that is, they kinda look like a bunch of ovals squished together, so the borders don't look natural. Maybe smooth them out a bit or something?

You could definetely try to use the topographical map and the river map to give the provinces a more smooth and "natural look"

Looks good and as I am doing the SWMH Tarim basin, we could coordinate it so the provinces use the same tags for other HIPers maybe?
