Germany was formed in 1871 after the defeat of the 2nd French Empire under Napoleon III , thus annexing Alsace and Loraine . Prior to the Weltkrieg this was the main friction between the two countries .
In 1914 the heir of the Austro-Hungarian throne , Franz Ferdinand was assassinated in Sarajevo , Bosnia . This was the cause of the Weltkrieg , and so the chain of alliances was set in motion . France, Great Britain and Russia against Germany , Austro-Hungary and The Ottoman Empire .
The war enter a deadlock stage due to the trench warfare and so the Western Front was barely moving . In the East was a more ``mobile war`` and the German ,Austro-Hungarian forces managed to defeat the Russians and force them to peace out of the war , thus allowing the German forces fighting in the east to be redeployed on the Western Front , culminating with the 1918 offensive that culminated with the French and Italian collapse in 1919 . Due to the precarious life style and the defeat of their countries , syndicalist revolutions happened in Italy and France resulting in the exile of the French government in Africa and the split of Italy between the industrialized North and the Syndicalist South . In Russia a civil war happened between the red (syndicalist) troops and the white (backed by Germany) , resulting in the defeat of the reds . In 1921 `Peace with honor ` occurred and Germany was finally at peace , but syndicalist had taken over Great Britain in 1925 .
In august 1939 the second Weltkrieg started and French hordes poured into the German lines which managed to hold without retreating resulting in huge French casualties . By august 1941 the border between France and Germany remained the same , but Germany lost White Ruthenia to Russia wich was becoming a threat and thus a two front war can became a dark reality , but for now Germany is at peace with Russia . Thankfully the Union of Britain has a strong isolationist policy and they remained out of the war . In Asia Japan declared war on Germany but strangely they offered a white peace (after a German offensive in Thailand began and the arrival of an German carrier fleet consisting of 4 Carriers (note the German Aircraft Carrier that was already stationed in Singapore was sunk by the Japanese)).
