Just... for fun? A free DLC that adds a rare "secret bear" event. Sometimes one of your vassals is a secret bear. On very rare occasions, YOU yourself are a secret bear. Making it a free DLC because it only adds a couple of events wouldn't be unreasonable, but making it a DLC means that those who would rather avoid fantasy DLCs like the Sunset Invasion don't HAVE to tolerate it in a patch.

Honestly, I'm not joking. I think it could be fun and funny. To have the (rare) occasional, "I have discovered that [vassal/courtier name] is a bear!" With options of "I must inform the others!" or "I should keep quiet". Same with "[Vassal/Courtier] has discovered I am a bear!" With options of "I must kill him before he tells anyone," or "I trust him to keep silent." Each one with a few extra options based on traits. "I will kill the bear myself!" if you have the "Brave" trait. "I will use the bear for my own ends," if you have the "Deceptive" trait.

"Is A Bear" trait/effect should grant +1 Personal Combat, +1.00 Health, -1000% Fertility.

It should be a VERY rare event. Akin to the demon spawn event. But perhaps even more rare than that, seeing as I have had that event pop up in every one of my games save one (ten out of eleven) within a century of the start since it was introduced.

Again, I emphasize that I am NOT flogging a dead horse here. I am NOT trying to be funny. I am being 100% serious. Please avoid flaming me for asking for this. Thanks.

Can we continue to not have secret bear events?

Thanks.

Reactions:
I get the feeling that Groogy is playing the long con on the secret bears. All these jokes have been a deliberate and calculated pre-announcement advertising campaign for the two dollar joke DLC. I mean at this point I'd buy it.

Why not go whole hog, and have other secret animals as well? (Starts at 37s)

Only as something optional please. I want those who'd rather not have secret bears not have to have secret bears.

Time to rain on your parade, broski :D

As always, you can easily mod a new event into the game. And while you're at it, why not mod in some ponies as well if those kinds of things strike your fancy?
