Will this game be getting any sort of Nividia Support in the future, because my laptop has two graphic cards and it chews though graphically intense games just fine, but it crawls on this game. What gives.

Go into Nvidia Control Panel and set ck2game.exe to use the Nvidia card, not the other one. It's likely using the wrong one by default.
