yea, I have experienced the same thing. but it was my stupid son who attacked the enemy. Just click one of your son's holdings and beneath his face you'll see the wars he's in, click the one he is now and you should see who attacked who. I am guessing it was your stupid son. But that means that he won't lose the land anyway, only money and prestige.
