Scenario Two - Mini Update
Jason Harrison with his pride still reeling from being defeated by the apache in red recklessly left the upstairs room he had been resting. With his revovler pistol and an old oil lamp with some fuel remaining he ventured into the darkness of the night following the screeching. He walked further and further away from Cloverdale for ten minutes until he confronted the night growling and a group of red eyes staring him down. But they did not attack (fortune roll success) but after a few growls continued onward to some unknown destination.
Harrison returned to the town to rest. He managed to fall asleep an hour later but was awoken by the falling of objects downstairs. He checked his watch "10:48 AM" but outside it was still pitch black. Harrison abandoned his room and with his revolver and oil lamp inquired about the noise. Here he was attacked with flying objects and frigid winds that pushed him around. A figure of a man wearing clothing from the early 20th century appeared and ordered him to leave the town. Harrison with no ability to fight a spirit abandoned the town and the further away he went the more the sun shined until the desert heat ravaged his body.
Harrison walked for hours to the west where he discovered an encampment of illegal Mexicans taking shade under blankets and drinking from jugs of water which they offered him. The Mexicans give you water and food. Instead of resting at night they prepare to start moving toward the highway. They say you can come with them until they reach a town or you can venture off after having your fill of water and food.
Coulton, Der Alte, and Dexter began training in Gila. Coulton and Der Alte were educated on the basics of squad combat, they learned how to make use of cover and how to communicate over the radio. They learned how to shoot a rifle as well as the various elements and weapons used to kill the undead like silver bullets, stakes, and ultraviolet light. Dexter was introduced to the ways of the Apache medicine man by He Who Walks Between Sun and Night or Charlie for short.
