Don't know a lot about India, currently starting my first Ironman as Kallar Shahi because I feel I haven't played around enough in India since I bought RoI. I usually look up characters and people I encounter at the beginning of a playthrough on the Internet. I can't seem to find anything however about the Banu Sama, however. Who are these people?

They precede the Samma dynasty by several centuries. Web searches should turn up some books talking about their rule. You can also search for "Banu Munabbih," another name they are known as.
