Hey, I'm wondering if the AI nations' economies would function properly if I went into issues.txt and vastly increased the "factory_owner_cost"? The one thing I love about this game is micro-managing the industry, so it pisses me off when capitalists randomly expand or build retarded factories. In other words, would the game continue to function properly if the "factory_owner_cost" was much higher and both "build_factory" and "expand_factory" were set to yes for both interventionism and laissez faire?

You can for example edit all parties in country, which you playing to planned_economy, and all issues with AI capitalists will not exist anymore.
So even elections will not hurt you.
