As the Senators go home for the evening, one amongst you stays behind to continue his work. As the night turns into day, and the Senators file back in, a body is found on the Senate floor. Upon further inspection, it is none other than Gnaeus Pompeius, Pompey, a member of the Optimates. It is clear that his death is of Populare doing, but unfortunately for everyone in the senate, Pompey had many enemies, even some outside the Populares, and inside the Optimates. You resolve that someone must pay the price, despite Pompey's unpopularity, after all, don't want the Plebs to think murder is the order of the day.
Meanwhile, Cicero won some denarii as a part of being the most popular Roman.
