Fellow noble and honest servants of the Shahanshah.
The Empire is in a dire moment. Hormizd, my husband, our beloved Shahanshah, died almost a year ago. It was a great tragedy for our nation and our people, and with him, died a great Shahanshah, an even greater man. His son, Adhur Narseh, was to be crowned our new ruler, but, he was killed by traitors, by people which hated the Shah, and the country. Heirless, my own son, then still to be born, was crowned in my own belly, and, in such strange circumstances, Shapur ascended to the throne.
Not born to be a ruler, but born as a ruler. It´s a sign of his future greatness, when he grow, and take the power he was born to wield. But for now, we must take care of him, take care of the empire, as he is nothing, but a crowned child. So long and he is unable to reign by himself, I ask the nobles of the country to serve him faithfully, as the true heir of Hormizd and Sasan, as the Guardian of the Light he is. Neither the Shahanshah or the Queen will forget their friends, and I promise anyone which serve him with upmost loyalty, will be correctly and appropiately rewarded
In other state of affairs, the Arabs have entered the country, destroying our properties, sacking our towns, looting our fields. As such, any defense against them is of a extreme urgency and necessity, and I ask every man of the country, which know how to ride and fight in a horse, which can addord his own weapons, his armor, which call himself a cataphract, a rider, an archer, to question himself "What can I do for my country? Can I really help him? What do I value more, my own security, or the lives of my fellow countrymen? What should I do, wither here, or ride to battle, against the enemy, the possibility to gain the glory, to be great, to improve my morals and myself?". If you ever had a proper education, you will know what a real Wazargan, a noble warrior of Iran, will reply to each one of these questions. I hope that you do, and all brave men of the country report to Eran Spahbed himself, the very noble Karen, and offer to serve in his army against the Arabs.
Let this message be heard by all. Let the people know the real state of the Realm, and make them think to themselves how can they help their friends, their ruler, their neighboors, and all the beautiful people which inhabit Iran.
