Hello everyone!

With my Polish AAR finished, and with me having loads of time, it's time for another project. First, I want to thanks Alxeu for his excellent Denmark's Doom AAR, which brought me to the Apocalypse 1936 mod in the first place. I call this a guide, but it's only the first time I play this mod. Anyway, enough talking, time for some action!

As a wise man once said:
One Ring to rule the 2 sicilies, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.
In the Land of Italy where the Shadows lie.”

Part I

I decided to research steamers first. Why? Well, I want a modern navy :p All my old wooden floating things are scrapped, since my budget is pretty crap. And then...

huh oh? What?

Well, I won't show my budget just yet. It's just cut on almost everything, raise taxes and tariffs... Then, my factories:

Apparently something went wrong and we have no factories any more

Giving as we produce quite allot of sulfur, I decided to go with building a fertilizer factory as soon as I have the money.

This is scary... Time to declare a state of emergency and mobilize all reserves! No elections are always nice, then I don't have to deal with these shitty liberals :)

First battle against the zombies.

Behold the mighty defence of the homeland!
zK4k7RK.jpg

And even more battles against stupid zombies, who never seem to be dangerous.

After those steamers finished, I began researching Muzzle-Loaded rifles, giving I can use every advantage possible over the zombie hordes. I also began building two new commerce raiders, which would bring my total count to three.

Few down, infinite to come! :p

Part II

Like the zombie plague wasn't enough, a cholera epidemic struck the nation in 1839...
UdwUg0C.jpg

Somewhere in November 1839 I finished my first factory! A fertilizer one!

In May 1840, even more zombies attacked us!

I will give an overview of all my technology later, that way I don't need to say it everytime I research a tech, since that would get messy... Anyway, I'm rushing colonial techs mostly.

Hurray! It's six years after the game started and we are already a great power! (it's definitely not because of everyone being overrun, definitely not...)

But in March 1842 it seemed I could no longer hold against the horde... Although I didn't lost any battle, I decided to retreat to Sicily, my army halved in strength already.

When my army arrived in Sicily, it was down to 20k.... Attempts by the zombies to take it failed though.

GLORIOUS! The zombies have risen.

But the zombies left the mainland, and I sent my armies to reconquer it. Glory to the two sicilies!

Only to have so many rebellions that I was forced to retreat again... :(

And to be declared bankrupt.

Well, hopefully things will get better. I mean if I were playing I doubt it, but since your playing, one could hope.

Oof... Not good. Mobilize? I honestly don't know.

Retreat to Denmark, land of necromancy?

(I swear that AAR has died more than once, and it will probably come back again)

I do hope it comes back...

Subbed! Perhaps this AAR will be a zombie...

The earth will belong to the undead!

Part III

Time to show off, my, rather miserable budget. Everyone is starving :(

They should eat cake, or go in the military! Bah, liberals everywhere!
nNdsgZc.jpg

Europe is coming down at a huge speed, this is June 1848.
wBw9mPL.jpg

Because of the massive amount of revolts, and the massive amounts of liberals in the upper house, I decided to begin setting up a school system.

In November 1853, I sign an alliance with France. In the mean time, mainland Sicily is becoming a black hole, by 1854, only one province in the former region is still holding, the army was sent to reinforce it.

We are still recovering, but the battle's have been fought. Now it's the time to start resettling our lost lands, and to build an empire bigger than before...
