So, I noticed that Ck2 and Eu4 have the exact same requirements... My computer can run ck2 perfectly but eu4 is extremely laggy, what gives?

More is happening in EU4, also those are minimum requirements, not recommended.

i'd think more would be happening in ck2 since they have to calculate every possible decision for every character in the game...

But a much smaller map, fewer nations, fewer armies (EU4 armies are permanent, most CK2 ones are temporary).

EU4 definately takes more resources than CK 2.

I had an graphics card overheating problem and EU would give me blue screens after 1,5 h of gameplay. CK II didn't.

I have exactly opposite issue. EUIV runs perfect, but CKII is a bit laggy.

I'd say that EU is more graphics intensive and CK II is more processor intensive.

sadly, that caused me to have to downgrade to 1.5.1 because i'm having graphical issues with the Eu4 meta building lists...

Yeah EU4 runs better for me and sometimes after playing CK2 for too long there are some graphical glitches and sometimes I've even had crashes, my computer is much better in the GPU department than in the CPU one so there's that.
